Heidi Cruz is not responsible for the boardroom of GS.
GS is always hiring people that come with the right pedigree such as an Ivy League degree. Heidi fit the bill. She wasn’t politically aware enough to be privy to what goes on behind closed doors in the boardroom.
I know some very fine engineers and managers who were with Enron. Believe it or not, Enron had divisions that were top of the line in service work. But to taint each and every employee of that bankrupt company with criminal conduct is beyond the pale. It is the same with GS. I am not going to judge every employee of GS as guilty by association.
Heidi Cruz had nothing to do with Mortgage fraud. GS was one of many that is guilty on that issue but it’s a big company and the culprits have long since skated from justice. In any event, she had nothing to do with it.
She is paid a NY Wall St salary and I agree that NY Wall St salaries are obscene. They are similar in San Francisco. The cost of living is through the roof in those places. Rents or mortgages are typically $15k to $25k a month and that does not buy a palace. A liquid net worth of $10 million in NYC is not wealthy. It is well-off but it’s not mover-shaker money. A salary of $600k per year after taxes will come to about $32k per month. Living in that stratum within those parameters is comfortable but it’s not in the league of Trump.
Alright, that’s enough on this subject.
The issue is Trump and Cruz. The media and their flying monkeys are having a field day watching these fighters attack each other. Cruz people should understand that a win against Trump is a loss to the media, and a loss to the media is a loss in the election.

This Ted thing is not going away and will (and should) be resolved. Sure wish you Teddy fans would accept that he’s not pure, by a long shot. And I don’t mean the whole ‘we’re all sinners’ line - I mean the hard reality that the man is a politician through and through and has made some very serious missteps.
I’ll give you credit for you analysis but stop short with the current situation.
Why would Trump waste a minute going after a guy who was polling so low? New strategy? Makes no sense.
The minions in these candidates camps, and that most definately includes Ted’s, are part of this disgusting process. There are so many people and pieces in place that trying to lay blame on Trump is foolish. It’s the Rove’s of the GOPe who WILL succeed in getting Rubio in, in part due to the dirty handed tricks of the dividers these camps employ.
Open your eyes, please. We will get saddled with Rubio if this idiocy keeps up.
Trump is the only pub with no chance to win. He has the highest negatives recorded by Gallup, combined with his 100% name recognition, flip flops and the rats 1B budget for negative ads he is hosed.
But them for some people love is truly blind.

I can see two reasons why Trump is pushing this. It could be either or both.
1. He sees Carson staff and supporters going to Cruz (the main threat to him) and wants to drive a wedge between teh two campaigns so that when Carson does withdraw, his people will not switch to Cruz.
2. Remember some months ago when Trump said he wouldn’t run as an independent as long as the Republican Party “treats him fairly”? Well, he’s looking for an excuse to say they’ve been unfair to him so he can run in November as an independent.
Now, add in his colossal ego, and you vhe your answer.
Well, everybody knows that Canadians are very dishonest. After all, does Trump have massive holdings in Canada?
And you know why not? Because Cruz and his dad have been interfering with him.
