Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump says America will be glad if he's the president next time the nation is attacked.
"If we are attacked, somebody attacks us, wouldn't you rather have Trump as president if we're attacked?" he said at a rally in Milford, N.H. "We'll beat the shit out of them."
He added that America needs to stop "playing games."
"We've become the policemen to the entire world," he said. "We take care of the world. They pay us peanuts."

I feel so liberated, especially after reading some of these posts, that I have removed myself from the ever dramatic Trump/Cruz circle jerk. Trying to determine what they said, meant to say, should have said, who is nice, who is not nice, who is natural, who is unnatural, who got the evangelical and the endless excuses for disgusting behavior, has been exhausting. Neither one of these two showboats deserves the nomination.
You came in late. Cruz has been accused here of lying all day long. Yet no one has been forthcoming with the lie that Cruz told.

We will have to agree to disagree. I think Cruz did the right thing to apologize once it was clear that the original report was in error, but to share breaking information that is relevant was not improper.
Think about it from the other direction. What if the news WAS correct and Carson was planning on quitting right after the caucus. As a Carson voter, wouldn't you want to know that before you cast your vote and maybe use your vote to support one of the candidates staying in the race? Wouldn't you at least want that option?
Not really; perhaps a PK (Preacher's Kid) but not a Sailor, Soldier, or Marine.
