MANCHESTER, New Hampshire -- Mark Campbell, national political director for the Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)97% campaign, tells Breitbart News Cruz's victory in the Iowa caucuses Monday can be replicated in the New Hampshire primary next week.

Campbell was among a dozen die-hard Cruz campaign workers and volunteers on hand at the Cruz New Hampshire headquarters in Manchester when Breitbart News arrived at 11:30 pm Monday night.

Ted Cruz's victory speech was playing on a super-sized big screen television as the weary but happy team listened in rapt attention.

"You should have been here an hour ago," Campbell told Breitbart News. "The place was packed."

Campbell has been camped out in New Hampshire for several months and was beaming with confidence about the chances for victory in the Granite State's primary next Tuesday.

"We're the only campaign that has a ground game in the state," he told Breitbart News.

Cruz's convincing victory Monday night in the Iowa caucuses...

The reason trump is doing good is because people are hiding his dirty laundry, as if the left won’t air it if he wins the general election. I wish we could ask all the candidates to tell us if they have done anything that can be used in the primary against them. I don’t want to find out too late ....

Christianity Today

This sort of political discourse is starting to affect how evangelicals talk about Trump. A notable exception is Russell Moore. He has consistently presented a line of argument—and not just name calling. His major thesis is that Trump is immoral by Christian standards. This is a fact: from Trump’s owning of strip clubs to his bragging about sleeping around to his Nietzsche-esque notions of power. Moore believes that a leader’s moral behavior will affect his leadership, so he argues that no Christian should support a candidate like Trump. This will not convince all Christians, but at least it’s an argument grounded in the fact of Trump’s moral behavior.

Charisma Magazine

“The late Dr. Jerry Falwell Sr. would be rolling over in his grave if he knew the son who bore his name had endorsed the most immoral and ungodly man to ever run for President of the United States,” John Stemberger, president of Florida Family Action, said in a statement Monday. “Trump is a thrice married owner of casing with strip clubs and would give us the first ‘First Lady’ who has proudly posed in the nude while supporting gay marriage and funding Planned Parenthood with taxpayer money.”

Unique in So Many Ways

Indeed, Trump would be like no president before him.

The first to be married three times, cheating on the first two (and probably the third).
The first whose wife appeared nude in a magazine.
The first to boast of his sexual proclivities, claiming to have had sexual relations with some of the “top women in the world.” (This is who Sarah Palin is supporting?)
He will be the first that has owned casinos with strip clubs.
To proudly proclaim that he will seek revenge against his personal enemies “as viciously and as violently as you can.”
His wife will be the first first lady that has posed for lesbian porn.
And with that last bullet in mind, do you really think for a minute that Trump opposes gay marriage?

Why Donald Trump Threatens to Trump the Gospel

http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2016/january-web-only/why-donald-trump-threatens-to-trump-gospel.html

Donald Trump talked about his Christian faith Saturday, but said he’s never sought forgiveness for his sins.
The event is a gathering sponsored by several socially-conservative Christian organizations, including the Family Research Council, a socially conservative lobbying organization; Liberty University, the world’s largest evangelical university; and the National Organization for Marriage, a group established to prevent the legalization of same-sex marriage.
Trump, who told CNN earlier that he is both anti-abortion and anti-same-sex marriage, said people are surprised to learn about his Christian faith.
“People are so shocked when they find ... out I am Protestant. I am Presbyterian. And I go to church and I love God and I love my church,” he said.
Moderator Frank Luntz asked Trump whether he has ever asked God for forgiveness for his actions.
“I am not sure I have. I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

let’s understand...

Cruz garnered within 2 points of his pre-caucus poll point and then media entrance polls. He landed where he was supposed to in terms of percentage of this vote.

Rubio closed well and Trump lost about 5 points. Carson lost about 3.

My honest question is, how will Ted outperform his polling percentage? He moved up to no 1 in IA, and congrats to him for doing so, but what he didn’t do was gain populous. He HAS to do that in NH to he competitive. So ... how does he gain voters?

I tend to agree. The momentum is away from Trump now, but his poll numbers were very high; I don’t know that such a large lead can be overcome with 7 days of momentum. And as much as I like Cruz, I’m skeptical that the high-cost high-effort Iowa approach can be bottled and sold elsewhere.

I hope the Cruz camp is confident rather than cocky, because we all know what pride goeth before. Just ask Trump

My point was that enough people must not have a problem with it or he wouldn’t have finished 2nd in Iowa and be reportedly winning in NH. Not to mention that his supporters on FR love when he brags about how great he is. With some people it works that way.

Now do I think Cruz is bragging by saying that he can replicate Iowa victory. No I don’t. What’s he supposed to say. That he can’t.

“You’re kidding yourself - are you really going to wait until October to find out and screw everyone over? The irony is so lost on you guys. The great constitutionalist wont take care to demonstrate that he’s eligible under the Constitution.”

Unless he already knows and doesn’t want to waste cycles on this nonsense.

Elmer Gantry is a 1960 drama film about a con man and a female evangelist selling religion to small town America.

Not making fun of Christianity, making fun of Cruz’s revivals he passed off as rallies. He went over the top to ‘con’ voters into his camp. Quite sure it’s a performance as I doubt he spends his days emoting like he did in Iowa.

Are you making fun of Christianity?

C'mon, the televangelist spiel is offensive to normal people. It's not authentic Christianity to the vast majority of Christians. Unfortunately it plays well in Iowa though.

I’m a Cruzer, but it’s currently 33-11-11-11-10, Trump over the peleton in NH... If Cruz can pull THAT off, with Rubio getting the GOPe and media, he might just be inevitable... but I’ll greedily bet pizzas against donuts that it will be Trump by at least 8-12 points.

And that is excellent research. So why isn’t this in front of SCOTUS? If the media, the Democrats and the Establishment want to take Cruz out, like everyone said they do then why is this charade continuing?

If people are waiting for Cruz to be the nominee before any lawsuits are filed then there is more wrong with this country than just Cruz trying to circumvent the document he swears to and understands as well as anyone. This lack of response by the MSM and the rat and republican party is indicative of what is wrong with America and using the Constitution to achieve a political goal and a front page story is as low as this country can get.

Now back to your research. Anyone can read it. It doesn’t mean squat unless it is interpreted by the people in the robes.

Democrats wouldn’t have to take him to court. They can just refuse to put him on the ballot in a few swing states they control.
