More proof that Trump would clean up Washington DCâ In a recent poll â 25% of federal workers say they would consider leaving their jobs if Donald Trump becomes president. Gov Exec reported:
Donald Trump leads the Republican field among federal employees, but many still say they would never work for him.
One in four federal workers would consider leaving their jobs if Trump were elected president, according to a new survey conducted by the Government Business Council, Government Executive Media Groupâs research arm.
About 14 percent of respondents said they would definitely consider leaving federal service under President Trump, while an additional 11 percent said they might.
The findings indicate those leaving government would come from agenciesâ top ranks, as a majority of respondents were in General Schedule positions GS-13 and higher.

“Consider leaving.” They aren’t going to give up their fat salaries and their pensions to take their chances in the private sector.
Problem is, if these employees claim they are leaving if Trump is elected, most of them probably won't leave because liberals are liars.
That alone is reason enough to elect Trump.
I deserved a sarcastic comment for my lack of attention in reading.
didn’t get one :)
Just two nice ones. Slow night tonight lol.
What can we do to encourage the other 11 percent to DEFINITELY quit!
the federal payroll bill is STAGGERING
but like that @#$@#$ Pelosi said, they can’t cut anymore.
they can’t cut the ONE IN FIVE that spends their day making calls for the union or the ones that are caught looking at porn SEVEN HOURS A DAY.
The “quit” rate at the Post Office has been less than 1% per year for the last 40 years!
Well, it’s a start.
I know at investment banks and advertising firms in Manhattan they do a silly thing called “Time Management Reports”
Basically, you log what you are working on into a timesheet when you start and when you finish.
And BELIEVE me, they pay attention to it.
Even that, there were people that would milk work and take six times the amount of time I would need.
There’s always a way to get around something if you dont want to work
If I recall correctly only about 20% are deemed "non-essential"
.
Good riddance.
Trump said he would decrease the size of gubmint...looks like he will get an early start...

They are not going anywhere.
They know how good they have it.
If you have seen government workers in DC, you know they would not survive in the real world.
Right.
Where else can you look at porn all day and not get fired, fart, burp, be a jerk.
Right. They will give up their lifetime pensions and healthcare.
Right.
Where else can you nap and be sick as much as you want, take tons of vacay and never be fired.
Right.
Go ahead, make my day, LIARS!
They should at least wait until they get their pink slips.
There are some good government workers who are employable in the private market, but not many. You couldn’t drag most of these layabouts from their easy, well-paid jobs. Many are otherwise unemployable.
See! Instant deficit reduction!
Hip Hip Hurrah...if only they would...but...if they did it would be great but pure BS...these lazy bums would never leave...unfortunately...big wages, big benefits, no accountability nor responsibility...they got it made in the shade!
And a bunch of those Federal employees leaving, it wouldn’t be their choice.
When I worked in college as an intern for the State government, literally the first thing I was asked by the employees when I got there was what day was my birthday (it was in June, during my internship). They were ecstatic when I told them. It turns out it was department policy for morale purposes that each employee would be “taken out for lunch” for their birthday by all the other employees. It had been fine tuned to perfection. Usually they all leave about 11:30 a.m. to take you out to eat at some location that was a good distance from the office. Lunch then would be at least 2 hours. So you managed to get back to the office around 3:30 p.m.
It was also an open secret that most government offices don’t answer the phone after 3:30 p.m. So everyone would just kill another hour and then leave for the day.
I went to a bunch of birthday lunches that summer.
I don’t know if the feds are the same, but it was pretty bad at the state level. This was probably 40 years ago now—don’t know whether things have changed.
