:...Filthy Dog.” ?
WOW! You Trumpsters are true believers ... but, in what?
Sun’s coming up.
You must be talking about a different article. There is no reference to “Mussolini” in this one.
Wow.
Taking positions he wrote 15 years ago, before Obamacare, and claiming that as his position today.
Plus, he explicitly claims that his system will be based in private enterprise, which you then characterize as leading to single payer.
His words can as easily be shown to be biased toward free market health care.
Yes, Trump is big on promises and light on details here. Ted Cruz is also big on promises and light on details.
Show us an example, in the current crop of candidates, who isn’t.
It is a necessity of the place we find ourselves in.
Remember that the system in place *before* Obamacare had lots of government interference in it, and is not free market.
Of course, the clueless wonder thinks these problems haven't been solved because our leaders are stupid. Everything seems simple when ego compounds with ignorance to produce a Trump.
The GOPe and libs (and lawyers) are great at giving excuses at why you can’t do something, but not so great at innovation. That’s what a career in government and no real executive experience will to a person. Turn their brain into mush.
It seems that all the respected conservative publications have concluded that Trump is no conservative. the tactic of his supporters is very Alinskyite - attack the opposition and try to bully it into silence. Since the tactcde is liberal, and the many of Trump’s positions are liberal, I wonder about his supporters.
There is an old Jewish proverb: If one many says you have ass’s ears, you may ignore him, but if two men say you have ass’s ears, procure a saddle. More than two serious conservative publications have said that Trump has ass’s ears.
“Donald Trump has never met a dumb health care idea he didn’t like.”
... and I’m supposed to read past this first sentence WHY?
Okay. So you’re for Obamacare or single payer?
You could read it to see if the assertion is based on facts, backed up with clear examples, or just an opinion.
No and neither is Trump. You’ve been reading too many GOPe periodicals. You need to learn to do your own research and thoroughly analyze the material. But you need a strong foundation to begin with. Give it time, it will come.
George: âYou said that Ted Cruz is a liar, but you have said that everyone should be covered by healthcare and the governments going to pay for it. How is that not..â
Trump:
âI want people taken care of, I have a heart. I want people taken care of, if people have no money we have to help people. But that doesnât mean single payer, it means that we have to help people. If somebody has no money and theyâre lying in the middle of the street and theyâre dying, Iâm going to take care of that and get them back to health. We are going to work with our hospitals, we are going to work with our doctors. We have to do something.
You canât have a small percentage of our economy because they are down and out, absolutely no protection so they end up dying from what you haveâ¦you know you can have a simple procedure or a pill, we will work something out. That doesnât mean single payer. I mean maybe heâs got no heart and if this means I lose an election, thatâs fine.
We have to take care of the people in our country, we canât let them die on the sidewalks of New York, or the sidewalks of Iowa, or anywhere else. So, thatâs not single payer.
So as so far as Obamacare is concerned, one of the staples of my speech, you can ask any of my many supporters is to repeal and replace Obamacare. Itâs a disaster, the premiums are going up 25 35 45 percent George you take a look at whatâs going on with Obamacare is an outrage, itâs probably going to fail on its own. Unless the republicans renew it like they have been in 17, in 17 Obamacare is going to fail on itâs own, But a whole staple of my campaign is repeal and getting rid of Obamacare.â
Oh, nonsense. The piece starts off with a third grade personal insult. I’m really supposed to think there’s some kind of reasoned argument in there? Maybe if you have TDS.
But now he says we should have universal health insurance, and government is going to pay for it, and he is going to take care of everybody, and of course this will be GREAT. What this is supposed to mean is anybody's guess.
Everyone acknowledges that some people -- the poor, and people with very costly chronic conditions beyond their control -- need help with health insurance. How to provide that help is the big question.
This is not a new question. Donald right now is like a blind pig rooting around for acorns. He might eventually find his way to a consumer-focused, market oriented health insurance system with premium support and high risk pools for those who need them. If he had paid any attention to the issue before two weeks ago, he would know that serious people have been fighting this battle for 30 years. But Donald thinks they were too stupid to get the job done, and he's going to do better by inventing something on the fly. And he seems to keep drifting back to some variation of a nationalized system.
Taking positions he wrote 15 years ago, before Obamacare, and claiming that as his position today.
First - the 2 YouTube interviews are not from 15 years ago, they are recent interviews. Second Trumps views on universal healthcare hasn't changed much if at all in 15 years.
Trumps idea of a "Free Market" is based on the Federal government's involvement - whether that is the expansion of Medicare or Medicaid or emulating the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program or "negotiating" with "our" doctors and "our" hospitals, in other words putting the screws to them under the force of the government to accept lower reimbursement rates. That is not "Free Market".
"If somebody has no money and they're lying in the middle of the street and they're dying, I'm going to take care of that person," Trump said.

Nothing that Trump proposes solves this problem, it only exasperates the problem.
Then, you know and understand Trump’s position. Would you be willing to explain it?
Forget it.
They deny Trump’s own words. If you can’t convince them by posting Trump’s own words, it’s doubtful anything will convince them. They’re committed. Their too deeply emotionally attached at this point to be convinced of anything.
Whenever a truth about the Trumpster is pointed out to them the pattern is the same.
1)Blast the source
2)Bring up Cruz, Reagan, ect ect
3)Attack the source and writer
4)Attack the poster
5)Tell you “you’re taking it out of context”
6)Attack the source and the writer
7)Make you the issue
8)Tell you “but he’s changed”
9)Attack the source and the writer
You did, but his 'position' defied reality. In the same paragraph, he said he would not have a single payer, but that government would pay for everything. Huh? He said he would hire 'experts' to sort out all the problems. The greatest 'expert' in the world can't create money out of thin air, and can't ignore economic reality. Trump is proposing pixie dust to solve the health care dilemma.
“Then, you know and understand Trumpâs position. Would you be willing to explain it?”
You seem to have missed my point. The piece starts off which a childish, personal insult. At the point, I stopped reading. Given the extreme bias under which the article is written, the purpose of it cannot be to present a reasoned argument, but function as just another in a series of thousands of anti-Trump hit pieces.
FLUSH.
Amazing how a case of anti-Trump syndrome warps reality for folks.
