Breaking: Trump (20.1%), Cruz (19.4%) Rubio (18.6%) ALL within 2 points In Iowa (post debate)
Opinion Savvy Polling ^ | Jan 31, 2016 | Matthew Towery

We polled Iowa over the weekend for the upcoming Republican caucus, and the final results show that Trump has lost some of his edge, while Rubio has climbed to within one point of Cruz. In fact, all three candidates are within two points of each other; this race is now truly anyone’s game.

The narrowing is thanks to several key factors: expected evangelical turnout; the Cruz voter scorecard debacle; and Trump’s debate absence. Among those who watched the Republican debate, voters prefer Cruz and Rubio to Trump by a margin of 10 points. As the results came in, there was a marked shift in support for Rubio on Saturday night, likely as a result of Cruz’s mailer mishap. Nevertheless, Cruz maintains relatively strong performance among evangelicals, who we expect to comprise nearly 48% of caucus-goers.

Whoa! Trump is just blowing it all up.

But but I forgot that he’s the most unpopular man in Iowa if not the entire world. Guess lots of people who don’t like him are going to vote for him anyway...

2016 ELECTION TEST
Choose just one.

1. TRUMP
2. CruzRubioCarsonPaulBushFioriniKasichHuckabeeChristie
3. Clinton
4. My feelings are hurt, I will not vote for Trump because
he said some mean things.

ANSWER KEY
If you chose number 1, CORRECT, count yourself wise and patriotic while recognizing strong leadership.

If you chose number 2, INCORRECT, hearts in the right place but where’s your head. Number 2 pick = 3 win.

If you chose number 3, INCORRECT, now go back to DU. Unless you want to confess like Delmar - “Well that’s it, boys. I’ve been redeemed. The preacher’s done warshed away all my sins and transmissions. It’s the straight and narrow from here on out, and heaven everlasting’s my reward.” Then you are welcome to stay.

If you chose number 4, INCORRECT, and you’ve been put on the stupid list for protecting your conscience while actually choosing number 3.

I was down in the barn working all day today (sunday) and had CNN on the XM. Why did I tune into CNN, because at least I know that they crack on all republicans equally and are not in the tank for any of them. Yeah, they pushed the Marc-mentum bit...but other of their reporters said they aren’t seeing it.

Quite frankly, since I have turned off FOX I find CNN and even MSNBC a bit refreshing. Why? I can filter out their bias cause its a known quality. Not with FOX that won’t even mention Trump and distain Cruz. At least CNN tries to project a bit of objectivity in trying to inform its listeners. The race between Hillary and Sanders is pretty interesting...Jeez I hope Sanders dispatches the wench.

I hope whoever is the Republican nominee will ask Sanders in the General election if Sanders is a National Socialist or International Socialist. I want to see heads explode.

Anyone who thinks a Trump supporter would vote for a GOPE is totally missing the point of why we like Trump.

Rubio at 15 is good for his chances down the road with the MSM media bump, but not enough to get Cruz or Trump

Right. They always try sway statements last minute. That damn Rubio today saying Ted’s gonna take Iowa was a wink wink why don’t you vote for Rubio as a protest vote against Cruz because he is already going to win. Rubio is worse than worse, a walking, talking, short rectum.

The last thing Rubio would want is a loll that raised expectations. To the extent any candidate would push a pill with these numbers it would be the leader trying to push down expectations.

Trump will take Iowa but Cruz and Pac will try to destroy him in South. Jeb/Rubio may steal show.
Cruz is on self destructive mode.

when one’s doom approaches, then one’s mind, one’s intelligence works perversely
