I can see why you’d want a candidate strong on an issue you care a lot about, someone who ignores the accusations of bigotry that so often shut down serious debate on immigration. What I don’t get is why you think Trump is going to give you what you want.
After all, four years ago, the guy was an immigration liberal, criticizing Romney for taking an excessively hard line. His positions on other major conservative issues, like abortion, are shamelessly opportunistic.
His enthusiasm for bashing China is somewhat undercut by his enthusiasm for outsourcing the manufacturing of his own products to same. It’s impossible to say with certainty which way he actually leans on any issue.
But his endlessly convenient opinion shifts, on the very core issues his supporters care most about, ought also to signal that Donald Trump doesn’t care about you, either. He’s against outsourcing and immigration, as long as that’s getting him votes. But if he can find a different coalition, he’ll happily abandon the current one in a flash.

Yup. Besides, I don't trust ANY of them. Well, on the GOP side, at least. I trust both Hillary and Bernie to be a guaranteed rocket-sled to Hell.
1) Only candidate with a credible plan on the economy
2) Only one evidencing that he understands the economy
3) Most outspoken on the borders
4) Solid record of accomplishment in business
5) Correct identification of the important issues
6) Says what most of us are thinking
7) Demonstrates follow through.
8) Shows far more energy in the campaign than other candidates
Etc.
I’m finding it pretty easy to trust Trump.

I too am a Cruz supporter and will vote for Trump if he wins the nomination.................if his shallowness doesn’t kill me first.
The touch back claim is simply a lie by omission. It presumes that everyone who is deported will return. That is NOT what Trump is saying.
Gang bangers won’t
Those guilty of felonies won’t
Those not able to work won’t
Those not needed won’t
How many will that be?
My guess is millions and millions will not be allowed back in. Building a wall will keep them out
By implying that if 11 million are deported that 11 million will return you are actually hurting your case against Trump.

It’s a sad commentary on the Dhimmicrap field that their best candidate is Martin O’Malley, under whose governance almost half of the people of Maryland wanted to leave teh state.
But at lest he’s not a criminal who put high-level secrets on a private server or a socialist who honeymooned in the Soviet Union.
If you subtract the charisma and the $10 billion, he’s just like me.

Trump did what was legal for Trump inc. He was in it to win it.
He wants America to be great again. He will make a great ceo of America. And America will win.

Touchback said every illegal alein must return to his or her country, then they would be eligible to apply to return.
Trump’s policy. on the other hand, says that the illegals have to go back to their own countries and then they can apply to come back.
I am not a Trump primary voter, but, I will vote for him in the general, because, I don’t think he is a Commie or stupid.
It might be nice just to have a pro-business, capitalist, America first president for a change, consistent ideological doctrinaire conservative or not. (not endorsing Trump over Cruz btw)
