Red Alert: Fox Debate’s Gotcha-Video Is Sign of Media Sucker Punches to Come
Breitbart News ^ | 29 Jan 2016 | John Nolte

Posted on 01/29/2016 1:10:26 PM PST by detective

During Thursday night's Republican primary debate, in order to attack and bloody both Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL), Fox News used selectively-edited video montages of both senators saying stuff. Video is the most powerful propaganda weapon ever conceived, and not only is the use of gotcha-video in a presidential debate highly prejudicial and subjective, a debate setting is not the proper venue for any sort of gotcha question.

Save the cheap gotchas for interviews. Debates are about issues, the differences between the candidates, and the differences with one another that they wish to highlight.

Another reason why Trump did not show up. It was more than just Megyn Kelly.

I’m sure they had teams working with those youtubers to work on the questions they would ask.

When the first video was popped up, all the candidates should’ve stated that was not the way to run a “debate” and walked off...

“Another reason why Trump did not show up. It was more than just Megyn Kelly. “

Rancid Penis and the RNC should cancel any further party-related business like they did with NBC. They need to make a deal with One American Network and not use any of the so-called mainstream media outlets.

MSM are enemies of the State.

Keep in mind, though, Trump has been MSM elite as a celebutard for over a decade now.

Follow the money. Why is gotcha debating being used? It’s not the brainchild of the brainless three: they were TOLD to do it.

Think about it. Who should pick our candidates? Us? Or some cabal who owns (in one way or another) the propaganda mouthpiece (media)??

That’s the whole point of debates. So moderators and other candidates can “sucker punch” each other. The people want to know how the candidates react to sucker punches, to unexpected developments. Because things like 9/11 and Pearl Harbor occur in real life.

These old style debates need to be blown up.

No moderators needed, just time keepers. Each candidate submits a topic and they all discuss them.

Look, the Networks treat Democrats and Republican differently. (Captain Obvious). Republicans need to grab the bull by the nostrils and do something about it. Trump did the right thing. Anyway, why can’t Republicans arrange a forum that is friendly to the cause? If the networks won’t stop from sending Candy Crowley and Megyn Kelly, then start your own network for the debates. Think outside the freakin’ box once in a while.

Why do you think Trump and his globalist pals Murdoch and Ailes set it up this way?

These are not debate moderators.

These are not debates.

Just inquisitions but mercurial and agenda driven “journalists” — who are accountable to no one.

“Red Alert: Fox Debate’s Gotcha-Video Is Sign of Media Sucker Punches to Come”

Indeed it is. And the RNC should require that this particular gotcha technique is forbidden in the future. If not, then the candidates themselves should ban together and demand it.

These kinds of unmitigated gotcha attacks by the media have simply got to stop.

Kelly and co have done two debates now and they have both been terrible. They seem to think debates are all about them , especially Kelly, but also they think it’s all about pitting one against another for arguments.

Fox business I thought did a good job, but Kelly and co had done the worst two debates I have seen thus far. They need to be banned from doing any.

Cruz actually threatened to do so and I don’t blame Trump for sitting it out. I wish when Chris Wallace said, “Well, it IS a debate” Cruz would’ve answered, “No, a debate is led by moderators, not facilitators and cheerleaders for a targeted ambush.”

And, if you happen to be a Trump supporter, I said the same thing about earlier debates - especially the first one - regarding attacks on Trump.

There is a four-member coalition which desires to seize, or has seized, control of the process by which a President is chosen.

The four members are the media, the pollsters, the consultants, and the donors.

The ACTUAL authorities with LEGITIMATE interests are the State Legislatures, who have plenary power to appoint the electors (except for the three electors Congress granted itself in 1960 by Constitutional amendment), and the voters in those States if the Legislature has provided for appointment of electors by voting.

It is vitally important that all four elements’ participation in the choice of a President - media, pollsters, consultants, and donors - be ended as soon as possible.

Trump is on the case.

Someone who deserves to be President has to be bigger - much bigger - than Chris Wallace or Candy Crowley. The way our masters have configured THEIR process, that’s not possible.

Now, we see them for what they are. Thank you, Mr. Trump.

Bloody Kelly gave it away at the first debate.

Carson said something about not being asked a question for a while.

Bloody answered that they will get to him and he will probably be sorry they did.

That said it all.

It is beyond dispute now, after the fact, that Trump's move was well-informed and brilliant. Can there be any doubt that Fox had a similar Trump video up their sleeve?

And no, this kind of gotcha savaging of candidates has nothing to do with the putative "debate" being held. So where is Reince Priebus, who is up to his arse in all this garbage? What does he have to say about all this?
