What's nasty is all the Cruz supporters poo pooing this event, just because it was Trump that organized it. Instead of crapping on it, I'd think that, especially those here on FR, despite differences with Trump, would at least be thankful that our veterans are being honored.
In my opinion, this is FAR BETTER than what exists and
beyond ANYTHING any other candidate has offered.
Trump shows LEADERSHIP quality by actually presenting SOLID SOLUTIONS to existing problems.
Mr. Trump has MY vote.

Thanks for that, was the first thing i thought of when I saw the list - is that group on there? Couldn't remember their name. Sorry for the vets involved in that group - I'm sure they could use the money too but never give money to someone like that, give it to those who will appreciate it.

Thank you! I can't figure out why so many can't seem to grasp this very concept. Sure, as supporters of different candidates, we all have differing reasons & beliefs & views as to why we support our candidate. But ultimately, we really all share the same goal in this particular election, and that is destroying the establishment machine.
Anderson Cooper let this guy rattle on, and then turned to Trump's guy Jeffrey Lord who had listened respectfully and then calmly outed the guy as a Hillary Clinton supporter, and completely defanged him.

The guy was completely gutted. Did Fox bring out that the guy was a Hillary hack with a political agenda completely unrelated to veterans issues? Yeah, I didn't think so.

Like I said, I may be a Trump first guy, but I, like Jim and many here, like Cruz. That doesn't change the fact that most of the badmouthing about this event (regardless of who did it) is coming from Cruz supporters. Not cool.

I don’t think Freepers hate our veterans. I support Trump, but I’m not going to let it make me say things that I would never say in a non-election season about our Freepers.
They have stood solid to a person on the side of our veterans in all the various conflicts that our so-called leaders have committed them to since FR began.

I disagree.I have a number of friends who served with me in 68-69 in combat ( either recon or hatchet force types) who are real friends, not fair weather. The men one serves with in combat are not fair weather types. Not a damn one I know would agree with you.
Exactly. That is the best damn Vet health care plan yet, plus it covers much more.
My clinic and hospital are A-1 which makes me believe that success always begins with competent, local management.
If your point is that the VA needs an overhaul, I won't argue with you.
But please don't fix what isn't broke.
I don't necessarily think they do either. I'm just sickened that so many are will to crap all over this event supporting our troops and veterans, simply because Trump was behind it. If it were Cruz, they would be saying the same things. It's sickening to see from "FReepers". I personally support Trump, but had any other candidate done this, I would have donated to it just as I did last night. Even if Yeb! had done it, and I loathe Yeb!
My grandfather moved to another state to utilize the VA there, because the management in the Fresno VA was deplorable.
