I couldn’t agree with you more. They gang of 8 is all I needed. When I hear him speak, I hear a crook.

If the foreign-born McCain had had more electoral votes, he would have been President, removable only by the impeachment process.

McCain was born in the Panama Canal Zone which was US territory at the time. Additionally, His father was a General officer in the US Navy, specifically assigned there. McCain was clearly not foreign born as some historical revisionists have claimed.
The Panama Canal Zone (Spanish: Zona del Canal de Panamá) was an unorganized territory of the United States from 1903 to 1979, centered on the Panama Canal in the Republic of Panama.

Cruz was born in Canada, period. Neither of his parents were officers or agents of the USA in any capacity whatsoever.

Camacho was stupid, but he loved his country at least, and worked with Not Sure to try and fix things.

I disagree about Cruz flip flopping on immigration. He is the only candidate that stuck to his guns and stopped amnesty even when Rubio was supporting it. I remember how so many Freepers and Tea Partiers felt betrayed by Rubio. There is no candidate who is going to take a more stringent position on immigration. And there is no other candidate who, based on their track records, we can rely upon to do what they say they will.

“Cruz stole Trump’s thunder when he pretty much copied Trumps position word for word on Obamacare and steal it for his own?”

No, I am not familiar with that. Do you have the specific details? Cruz has been fighting Obamacare since before it got passed.

I think it started when Trump claimed citizenship was an issue for Cruz.

It started with the leaked recording of the meeting with his donors where Cruz was poor-mouthing Trump.

One thing we need in a president is honesty and consistency and Rand Paul surpasses those expectations. Paul has the most impressive voting record in the Senate and is absolutley the smartest, not to mention most conservative candidate. I like his plan to fix our economy and understands foreign policy far more than any of the other candidates.

Those thinking about voting for Rand Paul, should know that he was raised as a libertarian. His dad, Ron Paul, was the Libertarian Party candidate for President in 1988. Libertarians have always advocated open borders. This is from the 1980 Libertarian Party platform:

17. Immigration

We hold that human rights should not be denied or abridged on the basis of nationality. We condemn massive roundups of Hispanic-Americans and others by the federal government in its hunt for individuals not possessing required government documents. Undocumented non-citizens should not be denied the fundamental freedom to labor and to move about unmolested. Furthermore, immigration must not be restricted for reasons of race, religious or political creed, or sexual preference.

We therefore call for the elimination of all restriction on immigration, the abolition of the Immigration and Naturalization Service and the Border Patrol, and a declaration of full amnesty for those people who have entered the country illegally. We oppose government welfare payments to non-citizens just as we oppose government welfare payments to all other persons. We welcome Indochinese and other refugees to our shores, and condemn the efforts of U.S. government officials to induce Indochinese governments to create a new "Berlin wall" that would keep them captive.

Pretty drastic NWO language isn't it?

I’m just doing my part to ensure that, one way or another, a Democrat doesn’t occupy the white house next year. Your feelings are irrelevant to me.

“People are looking for who is prepared to be a commander in chief. Who understands the threats we face. ‘Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?’ Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them.”

Doesn’t seem like a personal attack to me. Please tell me there is more.

Look just above my post that you responded to.http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3390060/posts?q=1&;page=101#147

The headline was, "Leaked Ted Cruz audio has Donald Trump readying attack."

It shows the audacious duplicity that Cruz will act like a friend in public for all to see yet bad mouth Trump and Carson in private to his donors.

That does not suggest a forthright Christian character. It rather makes Cruz appear a sneaky conniving Ivy League lawyer.

Did you even read your own linked article?

As I said, the secret statement from Cruz was “People are looking for who is prepared to be a commander in chief. Who understands the threats we face. ‘Who am I comfortable having their finger on the button?’ Now that’s a question of strength, but it’s also a question of judgment. And I think that is a question that is a challenging question for both of them.”

This is supposed to be your bombshell evidence of Cruz’s bad behavior?

“It shows the audacious duplicity that Cruz will act like a friend in public for all to see yet bad mouth Trump and Carson in private to his donors... That does not suggest a forthright Christian character. It rather makes Cruz appear a sneaky conniving Ivy League lawyer.”

Accusations like “audacious”, “duplicity”, “sneaky”, and “conniving” are not even remotely supported by the article. Further, you impugn his Christian character based on liberal media (CNN) headlines. Really?

You need to withdraw your accusation or provide much better supporting evidence. So far you are the one who looks “audacious”, “duplicitous”, “sneaky”, “conniving” and lacking in Christian character.

You’re attacking the most conservative candidate in the race and trying to back up your accusations with the Communist News Network.

//——————————//

You need to withdraw your accusation or provide much better supporting evidence. So far you are the one who looks "audacious", "duplicitous", "sneaky", "conniving" and lacking in Christian character.

Did you even read the linked article? Cruz told his donors:

"My approach, much to the frustration of media, is to bear hug both of them and smother them with love," Cruz said. "I believe that gravity will bring both of those candidates down. I think the lion share of their supporters will come to us."

Though Cruz also said he "like(s) and respect(s)" Trump and Carson, he questioned their fitness to lead the country.

Questioning their fitness to lead of, Presidential Candidates, is not only a personal attack but it was made behind their backs. Basically, like the proverbial wolf, he will wrap himself in sheep's clothing and wait for his time to strike!

It is obvious that the ultra-brilliant Prince Cruz has read Machiavelli:

Therefore it is unnecessary for a prince to have all the good qualities I have enumerated, but it is very necessary to appear to have them. And I shall dare to say this also, that to have them and always to observe them is injurious, and that to appear to have them is useful; to appear merciful, faithful, humane, religious, upright, and to be so, but with a mind so framed that should you require not to be so, you may be able and know how to change to the opposite.

At least Trump is up front about everything he says.

“Questioning their fitness to lead of, Presidential Candidates, is not only a personal attack but it was made behind their backs. “

You win the Internet for most ridiculous accusations. Wow.

That is not a personal attack. A personal attack is personal. We are all supposed to question the candidates on their ability to lead. A personal attack would be something like calling someone “nasty” or saying “no one likes him”. Or describing someone as having really bad hair, or having the best hair money can buy. Questioning whether someone is best qualified for the most powerful job on the planet is not a personal attack.

What is he supposed to say? That he thinks Trump is the best qualified candidate and announce his withdrawal? Otherwise he is being two-faced? Get real.

Saying something like this is okay in public or private. It is better to say it in private. Cruz knows that Trump has a good chance of winning. Do you prefer him to give soundbites to the Democrats to use in the general?
