I think the lion share of their supporters will come to us."Though Cruz also said he "like(s) and respect(s)" Trump and Carson, he questioned their fitness to lead the country.
Questioning their fitness to lead of, Presidential Candidates, is not only a personal attack but it was made behind their backs. Basically, like the proverbial wolf, he will wrap himself in sheep's clothing and wait for his time to strike!
