Real-estate mogul Donald Trump called the coming Fox News-hosted Republican debate a "total disaster" and shared a Twitter user's post that called Fox News host Megyn Kelly a "bimbo" during a raging series of tweets hours before he was set to boycott the Thursday-night debate.
"The 'debate' tonight will be a total disaster — low ratings with advertisers and advertising rates dropping like a rock. I hate to see this," the Republican presidential front-runner wrote.
The real-estate tycoon had told Fox host Bill O'Reilly on Wednesday night that he hoped Fox did "well," even though he said the network would "make much less" money without him on stage.
Trump also continued his assault on Kelly, with whom he has feuded for months.
One tweet, which Trump promoted on his account Thursday morning, attacked Kelly for a GQ Magazine photo shoot and labeled her a "bimbo."
"And this is the bimbo that's asking presidential questions?" the tweet said. The user attached two photos from the shoot with text that read, "Criticizes Trump for objectifying women ... Poses like this in GQ Magazine."
The candidate shared the post a day after he had said he wouldn't refer to Kelly as a "bimbo," a term used to insult women, because doing so would "not be politically correct."
Trump drew some backlash last year when he twice promoted tweets calling Kelly a "bimbo." One of the times Trump retweeted the insult was after Kelly, a moderator at an August debate, confronted him about past comments he had made about women's looks.

Is Megyn Kelly coming unhinged? Her cyclical changes in increasingly bizarre hairstyles and strident tone could be behavioral markers of losing control. Is she someone who is “wrecked by success” (as Freud described)? Ambitious individuals, like advancing armies, must consolidate their gains and allow their supply trains to catch up or risk being cut off in enemy territory due to their own lack of logistical planning. In her race to the top, has she outdistanced her support system and left herself stranded without the necessary resources to maintain her progress? Is she coming unhinged?

My post was about the following:
Trump gets jumped by a member of the lib media. He defended himself at the time of the insult. Situation resolved.
But Trump cannot let it go, and that speaks to his psychological makeup. He apparently takes any insult or other attack on his views or himself extremely personally.
This type of behavior is the mark of narcissism. that type of personality this country does not need in the Oval office.
Combativeness is not leadership. JMO.

I am starting to think maybe he did proposition Kelly and she turned him down. Maybe not in a gentle, preserve his ego way, either. It would explain this fixation.
Megyn Kelly is not what is wrong with the media. Like her or not, biased or not, he will face far worse. Of all media outlets to go after, why her and FOX? FOX is not the worst of the bunch. Not by a long shot.
If you want a leader who can’t let things go, a leader who doesn’t stop with a win, but has a need to crush and destroy anyone who challenges him, he’s your guy. This is not someone who can govern a nation.

I find it hard to believe so many on this forum accept in Trump we rejected before this campaign. Not only accept it but cheer it on! One big love fest. Have we morphed from stick with our values or win at any cost.
He has just lost my primary vote. No way in hell will I vote for him in the general election. Those are not the qualities I expect in the President if the United States. I won’t lower my standards no matter how rich he is, how many really, really good deals he can make, no matter what promises he makes, how much of a Patriot he claims to be. Big woo! We are all Patrots. We all love this nation. He does not hold the patent.
