Ted Cruz Super PACs Offer $1.5M for Veterans if Donald Trump Will Debate Him One-on-One In Iowa

DES MOINES, Iowa - A pair of pro-Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) Super PACs just offered $1.5 million for veterans if Donald Trump will debate Cruz one-on-one in Iowa before Sunday evening.

Keep The Promise I and Keep The Promise II offered up the sizable donation for America's veterans on Wednesday evening.

The principal donors of Keep the Promise I, the Mercer family, and Keep the Promise II, the Neugebauer family, in a joint statement released Wednesday evening said:

Senator Cruz and Mr. Trump both respect the veterans and hold them in the highest regard but Senator Cruz respects the process and we are calling on Mr. Trump to do the same and debates are the purest form of democracy. Iowans - and Americans - deserve to hear from the frontrunners in this 'two-man race' one last time. Not only would this be a heck of a debate, but it would also be a terrific opportunity to generate millions of dollars for the veterans.

The press release made clear the parameters of the pro-Cruz Super PACs' offer: The debate must be between just Trump and Cruz, must take place on or before Sunday Jan. 31 in Iowa, must be one-hour long, and the candidates can pick a jointly-agreed-to moderator themselves.

“5 dollars, 10 dollars, 20 dollars, a 100 dollars dollars...whatever you can”!!!! What a video!!! (Cue Heidi’s creepy Manson lamps eyes look, and their good buddy Glenn Beck’s nutjob pictures!) Owned by CFR/Goldman Sachs/globalists, Heidi and Ted Cruz want your money!

I find this disgusting. He will only give money if Trump debates him? Why not give the money anyway? Lord knows he doesn’t give anything to the church except the puny 1 percent. Cruz sucks more and more every minute. He is worse then pond scum due to this nasty request.

Another post that doesn't make sense. This is PAC money, and not Cruz's to give.

That’s what he said. Scratch many Trumpets and you find a Democrat or a Paulestinian.

Scratch a Cruzbot and you'll find an angry shut in who shouts at his neighbors.

If Cruz is nominated, you won’t vote for him?

Thank God we won’t have to make that choice. America is not that stupid to nominate this turd. Using the Vets like this is repulsive. I am so glad everyone is seeing him in the light on something I have known for a long time. Cruz is his own enemy. He can’t possibly be as smart as he thinks he is. Total fraud. Horrible debater. Liar. Canadian. Whatever.

So if the PACs are not coordinating with the Cruz campaign how would they know Cruz would be available and want to debate Trump Sunday evening?

Sounds like coordination, to me.

I believe there are two more debates in Feb. The field should be thinned by then. Trump and Cruz will still be around I would think.

A one-on-one debate between Cruz and Trump would be horrible for the country. They talk about letting a candidate manipulate the press, no better to have them manipulate other candidates.

Cruz needs to get a life.

Why not get a debate out of it? $1.5 million is real money. Even for Trump.

“Ted Cruz Super PACs Offer $1.5M for Veterans if Donald Trump Will Debate Him One-on-One In Iowa”

That is just sick. Extorting vets like that. If they REALLY cared, they’d donate the money unconditionally, which would bring Cruz WAY WAY more publicity than this extortionate quid pro quo “offer”.

Cruz has become a total joke.

Come on. Trump could match it with 1.5 million of his own money and make Cruz look like a piker. Then Trump could kill him in a one on one debate. The joke would be totally on Cruz. There is no way Cruz could beat Trump in a debate. Trump is "God on Earth".

Trump’s function function on Thursday is allegedly to raise money for vets, so it is entirely appropriate to challenge him to a debate that will benefit veterans to the tune of $1.5 million.

Apparently, Trump isn’t that interested in helping vets; or he is afraid to debate Cruz one-on-one.

BTW, as well all know, Cruz is simply copying what Jeb Bush tried a month ago:

http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/presidential-races/264328-bush-challenges-trump-to-one-on-one-debate

it’s what losers do. they try to shine in the reflected light of the winners when their own light dims. on the other hand, the shinning winner can only be diminished by sharing his light with a loser, which is of course why winners shun sharing their light with losers.
