Donald Trump feud causes panicking Fox News CEO Roger Ailes to call Ivanka and Melania in attempt to get the frontrunner BACK to the debate - but he'll only speak to Murdoch

Donald Trump's refusal to attend Fox News' debate on Thursday night has sent Fox News into chaos The network's CEO has reportedly reached out to both Ivanka and Melania Trump to try and get the Republican front-runner to change his mind He refuses to attend over the inclusion of anchor Megyn Kelly as one of the debate moderators and will only speak to network head Rupert Murdoch Kelly meanwhile welcomed liberal filmmaker Michael Moore on her program Tuesday night who applauded her handling of the Trump feud One Fox News anchor said of Moore and Kelly; 'That would be like Rachel Maddow laughing along with Charles Koch as he trashed Hillary Clinton!' Trump called Kelly a 'lightweight reporter' on Wednesday morning and his campaign manager said she is 'completely obsessed' with Trump

The Fox News and Donald Trump feud is heating up now that the Republican front-runner has announced he will not be attending the network's debate Thursday night over the presence of anchor Megyn Kelly.

And while the network appears to be publicly siding with Kelly, who is still set to moderate Thursday's debate, the network is also reportedly trying to privately plead with Trump the best way they know how - through the women in his life.

Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.

My wife couldn’t stand Kelly long before the debate debacle.

I have joined her in the boycott of Me-GYN (me-women) Kelly. I can’t stand listening or seeing her.

I am mixed on the Trump boycott of the debate. I like that he did it and wish that Cruz and others had shown solidarity with him. There should be no room for bias moderators in any of the debates.

plus, we really need to only have 2 or three on stage at this point. I hate the mob chaos that they are trying to pass off as a debate.

Exactly. What I saw last night was A MAN who isn’t going to put up with their crap anymore. Fox News was the child here, I still can’t believe what a idiotic and insulting press release Fox News was behind. It’s so wonderful to watch someone with the spine to take on these lowlifes.

you're entitled to your opinion as I am to mine. I think Kelly is in the catbird seat in terms of the network and her salary. It remains that the network must back her up on this debate issue and I seriously doubt she'll bow out and take one for the team! That would be seen as outright capitulation. While I respect the other two female journalists you cited, I would put Megan Kelly on the same level. Again, just my opinion. YMMV. I would like to see Dana Loesch get her own show, maybe in place of Greta.

I want Trump and Cruz to be the two left standing in all this and I will gladly take the winner in an honest and fair amicable contest without rancor.

That said, I’ve never waivered from my vow to keep Jeb Bush from getting anywhere near the nomination. That now extends to Marco “Give them all Amnesty” Rubio and Chris Christie. I’ll stay with that belief until my dying breath.

I want the winner of the two to take on that bitch in the most relentless and unforgiving assault against the duplicitous pandering Democrats that has ever been seen. I want her put back on her IV drip hospital bed and trounced!

Frankly, I want the bitch indicted for treason, and if she should make it to a debate stage be turned into a blubbering masse pathetic remnants of evil at her defeat.

This has nothing to do with the moderators, and instead is completely about his insecurity about the complete humiliation he faces next Monday night.

It appears you're checking yourself for bowel cancer by having your head that far up your a$$.

fox news ad revenue will determine who is in the catbird’s seat. if fox news loses ad revenue, they will be looking for a scapegoat to blame. my bet is that megyn kelly and roger ailes will be gone before the republican convention, because otherwise fox news will be pillorying itself on the air live during primetime with its own pathetic uberliberal dyke strumpet and her NWO pimp.

Anyone for Trump - good. Anyone against Trump - bad.

I think you're missing the whole point.

It has been discussed here during every election cycle, that the Republican establishment has done a horrible job by letting the leftist media control the narrative. The liberals get to ask gotcha questions to the Republican candidates yet let the Democrats off easy. During the Romney/Obama debate Candy Crowley was clearly in the tank for Obama and helped him during the debate. This was and should be unacceptable.

Fast forward to this election cycle. The media in general and Kelly in particular have sinking Trump as goal #1. It's Trump now because he is the one in the lead. If Cruz were in the lead it would be him, and if it was Jeb, the media would be trying to sink him, although they might hold fire until after he was nominated.

We need someone who stands up to this and fires back. We have that in Trump. He's not my first choice, but things like this make me support him more and more. We need a bulldozer that doesn't play by the media rules. Reagan did this by talking over the media and directly to the people. Something to learn from.

How many will watch the FOX debate if Trump is not participating?

If Trump is not on that stage - other than Cruz - who gives a damn what the others have to say?

It’s going to be a ratings disaster for FOX.

And they deserve to get trounced.

Megan Kelly is a total ass

Word is now out that she and her fellow establishment travelers had a “kill shot” ready to take out Trump.

I do not know the veracity of this story, but check out the following:

And M. Kelly uses “sex appeal” to hold on to her job. So in effect she is Candy Crowley in disguise. I blame the news networks...why, oh, why, do female newscasters have to wear sexy clothing, have hair weaves, heavy makeup, good figures, etc., to present news. I’d have more respect if female newscasters were more garden variety, and definitely less inclined to insert their personality/their slant/their humor into reporting news. I’m not saying Greta Von Sustern is a bow wow...she is an attractive person and I watch her, but she totally eschews any “sex appeal” entering into her discussions. Get rid of Megan and get more Gretas!
