The Fox News and Donald Trump feud is heating up now that the Republican front-runner has announced he will not be attending the network's debate Thursday night over the presence of anchor Megyn Kelly.
And while the network appears to be publicly siding with Kelly, who is still set to moderate Thursday's debate, the network is also reportedly trying to privately plead with Trump the best way they know how - through the women in his life.
Joe Scarborough revealed on Morning Joe Wednesday morning that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes had been trying to contact both Ivanka and Melania Trump hoping they could convince Trump to change his mind.

Only if Moore is forced to wear a bikini, so people will be reminded every nanosecond what he is: a fat pig. I think FOX NEWS is setting the agenda and hiding behind Megyn’s skirt because it looks so bad when Trump picks on poor Megyn. The ‘men’ running FOX are horrid, wretched, creatures, including the Saudi owner Prince F a Goat!
Now Ailes is harassing the Trump women? Again, the ‘men’ at FOX use the women to do the dirty work.
I don’t think Megyn is a victim of FOX, don’t get me wrong. I think she is very happy to play a part in the charade.
I hope Melania and Invanka have Ailes arrested for harassing them.

Why in the world would you believe candidates have no say in who structures or moderates a debate? Those candidates have all the power. Who told you otherwise?

actually, i strongly suspect that the setup is way worse than the publicly available information indicates (as bad as that is), and that Trump has received even more damning inside information from compatriots inside of FNC. I think the Megyn Kelly stuff may be just an excuse and a good opportunity to take a shot at her.

I think Hannity mentioned Trump will only deal with Murdoch at this point. Ailes is not getting thru to Trump so Ailes starts harassing the Trump women.
