Cruz said Trump bulldozed a house that is still standing. Sounds like a lie to me.

“It made him rich — like when Trump colluded with Atlantic City insiders to bulldoze the home of an elderly widow for a limousine parking lot at his casino,” the ad says.

The ad shows a structure being bulldozed. False ad. Trump did not bulldoze the house.

Trump is turning into a combination of John Boehner and Mitch McConnell.

>> unless he can show how Ted Cruz is actually a liar <<

Oh, don’t worry. Katrina Peterson, Roger Stone or The Donald himself will probably soon be tweeting how the words were taken out of context, never said, etc.

So now that Trump thinks he has the GOP nomination all wrapped up, he is working to alienate Cruz supporters going into the general? Shouldn’t he be doing the opposite?

Most people here on Free Republic like facts, to help us form our opinions and make our decisions.

Which browser are you using? Mine displays a much different board.

What part of the eminent domain ad is a lie?

There’s a large contingent of conservatives that like both men, Donald and Ted.

This exchange with the Morning Moron doesn’t do Donald any good. If he will do this to a fine American like Ted, he will do it to anyone.

But I don’t take it seriously because back in early December at a rally Donald commented how much he really liked Ted Cruz, that Ted was the only one he really admired but shaking his head.....Ted’s numbers were low...not good, not good ....

And then Donald let loose with this:

“Although I really like Ted Cruz, his numbers are very low but if they were to rise up and approach my own, then I WOULD HAVE TO DECLARE WAR ON HIM”. (Donald smiled and chuckled as he said this)

So this is what is happening. Donald is doing all of this in order to put a dent in Cruz’ numbers in Iowa.

I don’t know a lot about Iowa but the GOP candidates they have chosen recently are not near 100% conservative. The chosen candidates are more in the ‘sincere’ category than in some ideological corner. So I don’t know what to think unless Iowans value ‘getting along’ and telling the truth more than Ronald Reagan type conservatism. If this is the case, then Donald’s invective may have impact.

On the other hand, Ted Cruz is very sincere and if Iowans value sincerity above ‘getting along’, then Donald has possibly hurt himself.

At this point, I think it will be best if Donald and Ted land a few points apart in Iowa next week, almost a statistical tie. It will induce respect in both candidates for each other and scare the bejeezus out of the GOPe.

Defeat of the GOPe should be the prime directive here.

Donald and Ted together will eviscerate the GOPe. Separately, it’s not a given because of a possible brokered convention where Jeb Bush or his proxy would have power (Jeb can lay hands on the ‘superdelegates’).

Oh for goodness sake. We begged Bush to go after the enemy when bashed and now we have an American Patriot doing it and you complain. Lord you are not happy ever.

This from the man who still claims he saw thousands of Muslims in New Jersey celebrating 9/11 on TV.

Watched that interview this morning. He seemed pretty irritable. Wonder why, since he’s leading in the polls.

I would phrase it as Ted is lying or twisting Trumps’ words and flat wrong. That’s what Trump meant.

>> Palin will be Trumps running mate <<

Not a chance. I watched Trump’s facial expressions during Sarah’s stream-of-consciousness poetic declamation, and it seemed to me that he was trying hard not to burst out laughing at the absurdity.

What is the real story of Ted Cruz's loan from Goldman Sack

His Wife seems to back off Ted story

Was it a loan repaid by his campaign with interest

Or did Heidi sell off their assets or was it a loan ?

What is the story?

And ads by Cruz saying Trump supports abortion and that he knocked down an old lady’s house are not an attack?

I think both sides need to get real about what is or is not an attack.

A puff piece on how much Trump’s kids love him is not an attack on Trump. The same with Cruz reading to his kids.

But ANYTHING that goes after ANYTHING in either person’s past or present IS an attack. And when attacked, I expect the other person to respond.

If they will NOT respond to an attack, then I don’t want them as my president.

Do you want another “muzzle Palin McCain”, a “take it from Crowley Romney”, a “Viagra for dinner Dole”?

Trump did not bulldoze the house.

But Trump did collude with Atlantic City Insiders to bulldoze the home of the elderly widow. That is fact.

Fortunately for the Widow she took them to court and stopped them.

I wonder if this means Cruz will not select The Donald as his running mate?

Probably a good guess.

More relevant, Cruz will be back as a Wall Street Lawyer junior $inator like Obama and were.

He dropped the purchase and the lady’s house was never bulldozed. It is still standing unless her family has sold it to someone else.

Let me be clear. Those are the facts in my previous post. I’ve yet to see the ad.
