A lot of Republican voters don’t like school choice. They sacrificed to make sure their children go to good and safe schools. Schools choice would be like busing and destroy this.

Every conservative I know is for school choice. And it doesn’t necessarily imply bussing as competition would go where the demand is, which in most cases would be right next door to the underperforming schools.
