Monday is the beginning of National School Choice Week, featuring over 16,000 organized events across the country, an attempt to take on the anti-choice progressive left in America, the Democrat Party that prefers a government monopoly in the nation's school system in order to continue brainwashing children with their godless and anti-American Marxist ideology.

Constitutional conservative presidential candidate Ted Cruz, a long proponent of school choice in America, came out with a video both celebrating and supporting school choice on Monday - calling it the "civil rights issue of the 21st century."...

The charter school and home school minorities probably will. He will also get the pro 2nd Amendment minorities. And let’s face it, there are a lot of minorities that want our borders sealed. And if he does enough education and outreach to minority communities, he might convince a lot of them the a Ted Cruz presidency will bring them jobs. But as Ted Cruz has said over and over, conservatives aren’t going to make a dent in these communities unless we paint in bold colors and stand up to the poverty pimps who falsely claim to represent these communities.

Wake me when my FREEDOM of choice involves NOT paying the damned taxes for over-priced schools, overpaid admins, and deficient teachers I may never use and whose quality SINCE the illegal DoEd was created has gone DOWN, while the $$ had gone UP.

A lot of Republican voters don’t like school choice. They sacrificed to make sure their children go to good and safe schools. Schools choice would be like busing and destroy this.

Every conservative I know is for school choice. And it doesn’t necessarily imply bussing as competition would go where the demand is, which in most cases would be right next door to the underperforming schools.
