My guess: given the Olbergfell ruling, the US government will soon rule that it is illegal to tell a ‘gay’ person that they can repent. It is just the excuse the Federals need to prosecute Christians and Jews.
The current mayor of NYC married a militan lesbian and had kids with her...
Anybody can change.
If you have high cholesterol are you going to continue eating fried foods and salt?
The human heart is depraved beyond comprehension. The real reason is sin, which nobody wants to address due to their “pride”.
Good luck with that before a Mighty & Holy God.
The thing that is often missed when people talk about anyone changing out of a sinful lifestyle is that we must acknowledge that we are dead in Christ. Lifestyle has to do with self identity. When we become Christians we are dead to our old sin nature and risen with Christ into a divine nature. We are alive with Christ. When sin rears it’s ugly head we must acknowledge that it is no longer us but our dead sin nature that is trying to resurrect itself. This is not who we really are anymore. Forever and ever we are and will be aligned with Christ. This is who we really are. Not the filthy, sinful, carnal nature that is trying to make us think it is us. As we acknowledge constantly that we are dead with Christ and risen with Him as new creatures the power of The Holy Spirit will be released in our lives to live through us. It is through this truth that we are set free. It is through understanding who we really are in Christ and identifying with Him rather than the dead sin nature.
Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me. And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
