Actually, I don't think it proves that. Other disorders like autism, ADHD, bipolar disorder, major depression and schizophrenia, are genetically influenced, and yet one can choose what to do with that: to indulge it, to resist it, to try to moderate its expression, to "manage" it, learn to live with it, medicate it, whatever. The same goes for inherited personality traits: have a sanguiine, or melancholic temperment, tending toward being laid-back and mellow, or impatient, or full of nervous energy, etc.
