The crowd laughed and clapped, and someone in the audience shouted out love for the candidate.
"We love you, too, man," Trump said.
Trump's comment came during a campaign rally Saturday at Dordt College in northwest Iowa. The 1,500-seat theater completely filled, hundreds more watched his speech from an overflow room.

I can’t resist. Why can’t you Cruzers obsess about Cruz’s birthplace or his Goldman Sachs loan or his recent support of a five-fold increase in H1B visas? Instead, you go all 4th dimensional about a joke.
It’s not just Goldman Sachs loans. Cruz has gotten plenty of campaign cash from Goldman Sachs. $100,000 to be exactly. He’a bought and paid for career politician. The five-fold increase in H-1B was HIS IDEA. Cruz wrote the bill and supported it for TWO YEARS until Trump forced him to change his position.
Unfortunately, there’s a lot of issues Cruz supporters see no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil about.
They're trying to get Cruz a little airtime....

You Cruzbots are siding with the likes of Jane Fonda and the Hollywood left. Politics sure do make strange bedfellows, don’t they? Define conservatism. Most Republicans think they are conservative, and some are on some issues. I’m not voting for a Sunday School teacher or a pastor - I’m voting for a strong leader of the free world - one that has the ability to straighten out this mess the politicians have made. And, YES< that includes Mr. conservative, Christian, Cruz - lover of teddy bears and soccer balls to illegal invaders. Lover of the Corker bill and liar about his bank loans.
