Among LEVIN’s key points against trump is that he’s insincere, even a phoney. However, in my book, he’s the only candidate that has so much to lose yet he still came out with positions that the GOP were running from, like immigration, Muslim bans etc. consider the fact that after his immigration proposals, his clothing lines were dropped from major retailers, his golf courses were boycotted and his real estate projects were put in jeapordy by local leftist governments like NYC. After his Muslim comments, England actually debated banning him from the country. This is not good for business. I’m still in the Cruz camp, but I see trump as a sincere man that has put his empire on the line for his views (which are unpopular with the liberals and the elites), all of which I agree with. I don’t hear anyone noting this, even on fire republic. We need to give credit where it’s due. Insincere people don’t put this much on the line.

Yes - it would hurt him if his wife or relatives were found working for Sanders. Cruz is to be expected - it means Mark's successful at influencing others to make wise choices.

I don't get it. Trump people - insane

Watch what is happening here, whether intended by Trump, or whoever this was pushed by.

This is getting ugly, this is obviously the GOPe’s attempt to purge the Conservative movement from the Republican Party.
This will not end well if conservatives do not win.

This is their perfect opportunity for them to try and fully take out the “scourge” of the conservative movement that they see in the Republican party. Because if conservative talk radio will not step in line behind the new meaning of a “conservative” Trump, well that must obviously mean that they have been phony conservatives all along.

What Levin family camp to the Cruz camp?

This kind of stuff is appalling. Earlier, it was George Will's wife being an advisor for Walker. I wonder, has she moved on to another campaign?

It's conflict of interest, isn't it?

This Trump vs Cruz debate is strange. Neither one is “pure” but both are 180 deg better than Bush/Rubio/Christie/Fiorina, and exponentially better than Clinton/Sanders/Biden. Why are the candidates and the pundit class distracting from that?

Hearing about the issues differences is good, but listen to what they’re all saying: mostly hyperbole and ad hominems.

Candidates need to focus on debating the real progressives, including the GOPe. For example: How do you explain to a 20-yr old that free college distorts the markets and will fail? How do you explain that a temporary ban on immigration is historically normal, and beneficial?

When you hear this made-up in-fighting, just tune out.

I think his conversion to conservatism began in 2011. He has been a republican on and off over the years.

So have I.

I currently am not one. I’m an independent.

Marks failure to report on the Obama birther issue in any meaningful way told me everything I needed to know, same with Rush and the rest of the talking bobbleheads, Republican Party shills.

Railing against Trump when Levin has a vested interest in Cruz......and not disclosing it.

More than a bit disingenuous

Bloated windbag DUnald Tramp has no problem attaching himself to rallies where Beck appears with Cruz.

At the end of the day voters better rally around the eventual republican nominee. Any of them are better than the dimocrats. Mt preference is Ted Cruz but you better believe in November I am voting AGAINST the dimocrat candidate

How many SCOTUS precedents find that a citizen who was born abroad is a naturalized citizen? ALL OF THEM. I don't know the number, probably more than 20. Thousands of cases below, 100% uniform on this point.

How many SCOTUS precedents find that a citizen who was born abroad is NOT a naturalized citizen? ZERO.

For a con law lawyer, Levin is entirely on the "con" side.

Unsettled law my ass.

This is a tangled mess. At first glance, I thought this was just more shug from this crazy election. Ho hum, whatever. Now, I’m getting curious. So I went to TRS to see if they had the tape of Levin talking about this- & they do. And I just have more questions.

Who told Levin about this? Are they involved? Are THEY making the threat in an obtuse way?
What campaign would do this? And why- how will this ‘help’ them or what advantage will they gain?
This ‘stormtroopers’ website- okay, well that’s obvious. . .but there’s a CAMPAIGN that is somehow mixed up with them? I can only think of one that might even be REMOTELY possible (unless someone is REALLY flying underneath the radar). WTH? REALLY? Those 2 things together seem really weird to me.

I can’t stand a mystery. I think highly of Sundance, but I’m surprised at him not being curious- AT LEAST. As far as I know, he can’t stand a mystery, either. And he REALLY hates an injustice.
It’s no secret that I DO NOT like Cruz. AND I disagree with Levin that Cruz is eligible. But WTH is going on here?
I don’t understand why or how Levin is/ became the target. What’s the point?
What am I missing?

Interesting you mentioned Alinsky. While the Donald is definitely not a radical Marxist/socialist, his political techniques are right out of Rules for Radicals.

Sigh. All radio talk show hosts should not have ANY friends in the establishment. And they all do. I’ll continue to listen to them but they are all conflicted in their own way.
____________________________________________________
There is nothing wrong with being conflicted. The problem is when you are not straight up with disclosing your conflicts. Take Rush, from the outset he has clearly stated his bias toward Trump, having known him, played golf with him, etc. He has told us how he personally feels about Trump so we can crank that factor into how we judge his objectivity on the matter. Trust me, Levin now wishes he would have made the disclosure on Cruz from the get go. He can not go back and do it over again and it is too late to do so when someone else is about to spill the beans. Unfortunately, rather than include a mea culpa with his disclosure last evening he doubled down and attacked, which is only going to make matters worse.

I agree. However How do you explain throwing up a big beautiful wall without a single member of Congress approving it or willing to work with you to make it happen? We can’t and neither can Trump. He plays on the publics sheer stupidity of how Congress works. I can bet you most of Trumps supporters think he himself can get the wall up having no idea it’d have to go for a vote to not only fund but allow for it to happen.

Don’t believe me? Watch Jesse Waters sometime. He interviews people asking some of the MOST BASIC of civic questions. And it is truly terrifying how stupid people are and have become. This is why someone like Trump has been allowed to succeed.

Quite scary

Trump brags about buying influence from politicians of all stripes and this guy slams Mark Levin for engaging in crony politics?

The main thing that pisses me off about this is how he dismissed the arguments about Cruz’s eligibility, based on his alleged impartial professional grade constitutional analysis. Now it’s obvious why . . .
