Oh Dear – Mark Levin Credibility Melts Like Glenn Beck Tears (tr)
The Last Refuge ^ | January 21, 2016 | sundance

There's something initially angering that becomes very sad when a fraud is revealed.  Tonight on his radio show Mark Levin was forced to admit the son of his fiancee is a full time staffer for Senator Ted Cruz.

After spending weeks attacking anyone who critiques candidate Ted Cruz, the motives of Mark Levin now take full sunlight.   He should be ashamed, VERY ashamed.

No, Mr. crony-constitutionalist, lying by omission is not the least bit funny.  Nor is deception toward your audience when you do not disclose your own conflicts.   Especially when we consider the hours Levin spends railing against the internecine family associations like George Will and his wife working for Scott Walker.

Crony politics is apparently alive and well amid the Mark Levin radio show. Perhaps he will tell the audience how much advertising money he takes from political campaigns?  Or more specifically entities with a vested interest in political campaigns?

Think he'll fess up now that he's busted?

Nah, me neither.

He's got another book to sell...

Wow. Just Wow.

The campaign of Donald Trump continues to expose the "Decepticons".

Trump could start performing abortions on the debate stage and they’d still love him. It’s really a mental disease.

Any long time listener of Mark’s show or one who has read his books knows he has acted more impartially than anyone. Back when Ted Cruz was running for he senate he said on his show that they had been friends for over 20 years. Yet whenever Cruz has been on his show, Mark has treated him fairly. He has treated any candidate on his show fairly. As a daily listener I have heard it for myself. So what if his fiancé’s son works for Cruz. I think Trump’s campaign got pissed off when Mark mentioned on his show earlier this week that Gov. Brandstadt of Iowa’s son works for the ethanol industry. Now that is a real conflict. And Trump who says he is a conservative is pro- subsidies. That is not being a conservative. Mark likes to keep his private life private. He has demonstrated that. He’s not going to lose many fans over this.

I don’t understand the obsession that people have with any one candidate There are 330 million people in this country. Do they think that one and only one person is the chosen one?

I can't figure out why with 330 million people we can't find any better candidates that Clintons, Bushes and Obamas. I think you can find better candidates by randomly selecting names out of the phone book...

If that is you Mark, keep doing what you’re doing and don’t listen to these cult of personality zombies that would follow that loose cannon, liberal Trump off a cliff if he asked them to.

Thank you Mark for being the one of the rare consistent, thoughtful conservative voices out there.

How many times does Levin have to say that he likes Donald Trump and will vote for him if he wins the nomination to satisfy the drones?

That's a lie.

Cruz is competely funded by a Wall Street Hedge Fund Billionaire who owes 6 billion to the IRS.

Cruz is owned by Goldman Sachs and Citibank and hid that fact because he was running a very cynical populist senate pr scam.

His fellow DC whores are disgusted and bitter that Cruz who is just as bought off and corrupt as them . But he throws THEM under the bus all the time .
Cruz is just another DC town whore who runs around pointing fingers at the other town whores while pretending to be sweet and pure.

Thats his fellow DC Goe whores hate him.

Wake up ,Cruz ‘s BS is the oldest scam in the book.

, they (politicians) generally dont fulfill their campaign promises

That is true. Most pols don't keep their promises. Some don't even try.

But how does that make Trump better than the pols? Once he gets elected, he's a pol too. How many of his promises do you think he'll keep. Make Mexico pay for the wall? All the other stuff?

Not to mention his gleeful support for gov. taking over private homes, ethanol subsidies, and a number other issues he's taken the anti-conservative stand on. He is directly pandering to Iowa voters on the ethanol issue. Sounds like a typical pol to me.

What a clown Sundance is.

Does anybody believe Marc’s support for Cruz is in any way fueled by his future son-in-law’s support for Cruz?

Pretending this comprises some unannounced conflict of interest is pathetic.

It’s like when George Will’s wife was a major staffer on Scott Walker’s campaign.

What’s the difference?

The comments from some of the people on this thread are a real hoot. Mark Levin a member of the GOP establishment? Really? If anyone is going to wheel and deal and compromise with the establishment, it will be Trump, not Cruz. Levin has been a conservative longer than Trump. Levin supports conservative candidates. It’s no surprise he supports Cruz. The connection between the son of a fiancee who works on the Senate side (not on the campaign) to Levin’s support of Cruz is tenuous at best. Then again this is an internet comments section so logic and critical thinking are not required.

In Connecticut, the GOP twice nominated the only guy who could not beat Dan “Stuttering John” Malloy. Rich, trophy wife, a little cocky. A poor man’s Trump and nowhere as good a speaker. Now, Trump will probably fight back harder than Tom Foley did. I just hope if it’s Trump he realizes this race will be the ultimate “lesser of two evils” if he’s nominated. He can beat Hillary or Bernie. Biden, I’d be worried about.

Oh, and by the way, the jackasses beating up on Rush and Levin can go to hell. This thing with Levin’s son might be the dumbest thing I ever heard of.

I’m really starting to wonder if Trump is paying people to post on this site. Good psy-ops by him, I guess.

Exactly. George Will mumbled out once or twice that his wife was a staffer, but at least he did it.

He SHOULD have said it every time he made a comment about ANYONE’S campaign.

The same with LEVIN. Every time he opens his mouth about any campaign he should say, “Fair Disclosure...my fiancée’s son is a staffer on the Cruz campaign.”

Wish Trump would disclose at each of his rallies that he has only been a Republican since 2009.

It doesn’t at all. The liberals have infiltrated the conservative ranks first tearing down their candidate which btw is without a doubt, no debating about it the most conservative since Reagan. They are now moving towards their two champions of Conservatism that reaches millions Limbaugh and Levin. I’m just glad many are exposing themselves here and elsewhere on these boards. Makes identifying liberals that much easier. These liberals trashing Levin have probably spent less than an hour ever listening to him. Kevin was pro Trump and Cruz. The moment Trump started tearing down and trashing the only conservative in the race is when Levin went full attack. Now we have FReepers deliciously licking their chops at the prospect of Cruz being torn down and a liberal stepping into the WH. They are gleeful that we have our very own hopey changey candidate.

I’d prefer they scurry off to DU

I’m afraid the wars against Cruz and Trump will knock each other out and we will get stuck with Rubio or Jeb.
The supporters and MSM and talk show hosts doth protest too much methinks.
Quit giving them so much free airtime. Support your candidate.
