Overwhelming – List of Ted Cruz Supporters
Education News ^ | Jan 19, 2016 | Donna Garner

It saddens me greatly to say that Sarah Palin is wrong. She needs to be standing by Ted Cruz’s side and supporting his proven record of long-time support for pro-life/pro-marriage/pro-family issues. Instead, she has chosen to support Donald Trump whose “record” and lifestyle are anything but conservative.

Yesterday, Steve Deace said it best with supportive documentation to substantiate his choice of a title — “Donald Trump, a Typical New York City Liberal Then and Now” – Conservative Review — https://www.conservativereview.com/commentary/2016/01/deace-donald-trump-a-typical-new-york-city-liberal-then-and-now

Today I decided to go back through my Ted Cruz files and make a list of those people who have either endorsed Cruz and/or have strongly supported him. When possible, I have put the title, date, and/or link. This list is certainly not complete but reveals hundreds and hundreds of strong supporters for Ted Cruz for President of the United States. Ted Cruz has a proven record and will do what he says.

1.13.16 — Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty .. 1.12.16 — Congressman Alex Mooney ... ..

If you succeed in getting another Liberal in the White House, did you win?

Trump has said he liked single payer healthcare, cans several other liberal policies in interviews in 1999 and 2015. Only during primary season has he changed his tune.

The main draw to Trump is he thumbs his nose at the establishment. He doesn’t like them. The criticism thrown out on Cruz repeatedly is the establishment doesn’t like him. How is it a positive for one and a negative for the other?

Cruz doesn't control who endorses him. That isn't how that works. The person doing the endorsing controls who they endorse.

The contortions necessary to hold Beck's endorsement against Cruz are demented.

The GOPe is lining up to kiss Trump's ring, and somehow that's okay?

I'd expect the sort of vitriol around here for a known Conservative with a Conservative track record if I had somehow gone to DU, but on FR?

The last person we saw that sort of frothing at the keyboard over was Obama. Even Hillary takes a back seat to the attacks on Cruz, lately.

“Trump can win.”

“We can’t afford to lose 3-4 seats on the Supreme Court.”

Trump is a gay marriage supporter, a pro abortionist and a two time Hillary Clinton doner and a Clinton Foundation doner. He has supported Chuck Schumer and donated to him. He has supported Harry Reid.....if “President Trump: gets to appoint and SCOTUS justices, they will be liberal.

Immigration is my litmus test. It is the defining issue of our time. Trump is the best on it and has the best position paper on immigration ever presented by a Presidential candidate. Cruz has had a recent epiphany.

I want a real outsider with a record of achievement outside government. Cruz is a first term senator who has spent most of his working life in government. And Trump is more electable than Cruz.

Cruz scares me. He is a grandstanding gadfly who is a pariah in his own party. He is too much of an ideologue.

Bravo photo: Bravo lob-bravo-smylie00066.gif I am with you all the way. If Trump is nominated, I will stay home in November. He, like the Clintons, is total slime.

Immigration is my litmus test. It is the defining issue of our time.

On that we disagree. Immigration is a symptom of the Moral decay that has infected the United States. We have aborted 50 million unborn American children. We have an immigration problem because we had to replace the dwindling population. Both the democrats and republicans were guilty not only of foisting abortion on demand, but also encouraging the cheap labor and the social security taxes that the illegal aliens brought in.

In my book abortion is the biggest issue. Even if we can't do a damn thing about it, it is still the main issue in my book. Frankly we are not going to do a damn thing about immigration either. It is just not going to be done. Donald Trump is not going to build a wall and have Mexico pay for it. He is not going to do 1/10th of what he is promising because he is not running for dictator.

I am looking for a man of moral principles. Ted Cruz may have waffled on some political issues, but not on the moral ones.

As John Adams said so succinctly: "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."

So if you are a constitutionalist, you should be more concerned about the morality and religious commitment of your leaders than anything else.

I want a president who fears God, not a president who thinks he is God.

Obama believes he is God. Donald Trump seems to be someone who might fall into that category.

So don't pretend your own side (whatever side it is) is innocent of the vitriol on this site. It is both sides.

I know when and why it started, now Palin is taking the brunt of it, so don't try and tell me the Trump people started this nor are they anywhere as vile.

It needs to stop before the first primary and then let the voters decide. I have rode out these storms since Clinton and the vile cr@p posted agains Palin is over the top and it is not Trump supporters that are doing that.

Nobody is allowed to use a family member in his or her administration, in a formal position.

Just school lunch programs then. Of Course HillaryCare was after Kennedy or did that not count. Just because they don't get an official salary for the job they perform does not mean they have no power.

I have never said anything bad about Sarah Palin. I am sorely disappointed that she fell for the Snake Oil Salesman, but every human has feet of clay.

Hopefully she will see the light before super tuesday.

If she had come out for Cruz, they would have.

Okay, same question for you. If Cruz veers far to the left, how long will you support him? Look, if comes down to Bush or Trump, I’ll take Trump, if it comes down to Trump or any Democrat, I’ll take Trump, even if he veers to the left, which I do not think he will — much. I expect he will do some things that I do not like. But I have hope he is not lying to us, I know for certain that the rest of those liberal establishment wolves wearing Republican fleece are.

He is ...a pariah in his own party.

YES!!!

The same party we have been bitching about, calling RINOs because they haven't done one damned thing we elected them to do to stop Obama. They have folded at every fight, dropped the ball on every play, caved more than a dry sand pit.

Every time Cruz has called them on it their dislike for him has deepened.

To me, that's a reason to back him, not kick him to the curb.

I'm going to vote for President of the United States of America, not Miss Congeniality. We just had two terms of that.

If this is reduced to a superficial popularity contest, the Republic is toast.

Not very far without a hell of a good explanation on why it was necessary. And even then it better not be very far off the reservation and there better not be many of them.

Before Trump said Cruz was a “nasty and mean” Trump supporters were all for their guy being nasty and mean - he gets thing done that way they said. Now that’s no longer operable.

I like Cruz, but Trump can get 20% of the black vote.

That 20% of the black vote is about 1/5 of the evangelical vote that won't be motivated to go to the polls to vote for Trump. If you are trying to be pragmatic, you need to look at the negatives for Trump as well.
