Fox News contributor Mary Katharine Ham summarized her take-away from President Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night in one sentence, which generated a huge response online, with one commenter simply responding that the media personality, "Nailed it."

It will take a hard-nosed leader to reverse damages caused by the POSOTUS and liberals in power. Cruz has that toughness.
I understand. In our own family, one in-law who wears the
britches, made a deal with her Republican husband. In 2008,
she decreed that she & pussywhupped hubby would neither one
vote because she wanted to vote for Obama & didn’t want him
to vote Republican. So. OK. - My husband is absolutely
mesmerized with her (he would NOT put up with her for a
minute if he had her!) He wants to leave our entire bit of
property to his brother’s kids & grandkids. (I think it is
absolute folly because he doesn’t know in the least what
those girls will grow up to be; but he ascribes all sorts of
“failure” to our son, who, incidentally, deports himself
pretty well and has a decent job but has never been able to
“measure up” to his daddy’s expectations. Of late, I have
JUST SIMPLY QUIT! I’m exhausted fighting it. I’ve worked
hard for what we have just as much as he has; but he has
this *magical thinking illness* when it comes to his brother
and his kids & grandkids. - The BIL lies and manipulates
my husband. I realize the SIL can’t help being a German;
but I grew up with my father being shell shocked all to
heck from combat in WWII. It’s a thing of either having her
be at my throat or at my feet; neither of which I care for
her doing to me! I spent this Christmas & New Year down
there with their kids; it was OK, but I have told my
husband I WILL NOT go down there EVERY future holiday. He
can. I’m not!

If he’s disappointed in anything it is that there are still some Americans who refuse to kneel down and kiss skinnyass feet and call him “my god.”
And does she not realize that this is part of the Left’s strategy and has been for half a century, to demand everything and when they get that and more, complain that they haven’t got everything they want.
There will be no freedom and no relief from their tyranny until they are run into the ocean and forced to swim to another land.
The rate of descent into absolute tyranny, which many expected to take another generation, exceeds even the RR prophecy.
What is clear is that the "thousand years" duration now looks to be on the optimistic side.

My wife’s sister is dying as I type, not expected to live the next 24 hours. She has made some promises or maybe I should say pledges, that she cannot keep to kids and g/kids. It’s going to make it hard on her husband when she’s gone.
The point I was trying to make but didn’t do it very well is, if you out live him, you pretty much hold the reins.
Like most at Faux, this chick is about 7 years behind schedule.
And I despise those who claim they won't vote for trump and/or Cruz if it comes down to either them or Hillary/Bernie....
We all need to get personally involved...
Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate (even if he's "rich enough to do it on his own") as the next President.
I donate to the candidate I support and you should too, else, your "support" really doesn't have any meaning.
It's even worse if you use FR and don't donate. If you are one of those who feel it's OK to use FR daily w/o helping pay to keep the lights on, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches because, functionally, you are no different than any other who enjoys the fruits of others' work for your own benefit. Also, don't be surprised if others decide that your opinions are as worthless as your non-donations - hypocrites aren't worth listening to.
PS - If you are one of those unlucky few who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....
That's taking the long term view, and you are right. The fact that communicatation and transportation velocity has increased, reduces the lifespan of all civilizations and nations. US is gone already, we just don't know it.
I am SO fed up with this “brother worship” deal with my
husband who really does worship his brother and the SIL
and their kids and grandkids. Point is, WE HAVE A SON who is
BLOOD KIN to my husband and has spent his life TRYING so
hard to please his dad (an impossible task). -
I told husband he has absolutely no way of knowing just
exactly who or WHAT his brother’s granddaughters (4 of them)
will grow up to be. I suspect his brother “works” on him
against me when he has him out to himself. I just wish those
two (SIL & BIL) would simply MOVE on up where their own kids
live. While I appreciate what little they’ve done for me, I
do not consider that it is enough to warrant having to be
forced to leave everything we’ve worked hard for to them.
- I think I elaborated on the fact the SIL is a German &
is either at my throat or at my feet - neither of which I
wish from her. My father was a WWII combat veteran who
fought Hitler in the mud & the grit all through Italy into
Germany. I don’t hate Germans; but I don’t particularly
wish to bequeath what I’ve worked hard for to them.
