Sarah Palin's 26-year-old son Track was thrown in jail after cops say he drunkenly assaulted a woman while packin' heat.
According to the Wasilla P.D., officers responded to a home Monday night after getting a 911 domestic violence call. It's unclear exactly what went down, but cops say Palin was drunk and had a firearm. They say he also interfered with the victim's ability to report the crime.
Track was booked for assault, interfering with a domestic violence report and misconduct involving weapons.

No, the local paper actually posted a copy of the charges filed against him. Track has had other alcohol-related problems in the past. That is not bashing Sarah, but acknowledging the facts.

What I’m saying is that I suspect that Track was NOT “carrying” a gun but told, when asked by the cops, them he had several guns in the house. That is, I SUSPECT, the extent of the “possession of a firearm” charge —and that it will be the first thrown out.

I know several good people whose kids have gone “rogue”. How many families could stand up to the scrutiny that is put on the Palin family?
They don’t generally indict all the parents of people in prison.

You’re making a very big leap (unsupported by any evidence or any logic) that he was in possession of a weapon other than having it in the house. The last time I checked, it is not illegal to be drinking at your house while there is a weapon in the house.
