I dance around the house all the time. Man I’m not only a great dancer, I am a great CHOREOGRAPHER!

Cause I compile dance steps in time to the beat and/or the lyrics, all in my head of course.

So heh, man you people got to stop me. Cause evidently I am out of control!

Entered the choir pew today and absolutely everyone comes over, telling me how pretty I look (hey, I did get my face waxed by my beloved niece the hairdresser as I was beginning to look like a goat) and how great a dancer I am!

After the mass, same thing, people all over admiring me and telling me what a great dancer I am.

Heh.....the LAST thing in the world I ever consider myself is any kind of dancer at all but go on guys....I LOVE Dancing With the Stars” and think I could dance those dances.

Though really, dancing is great exercise and I feel so good when I’m doing it I dunno, maybe it shows to the people around me. Me and that DJ were, for a moment in time, the center of the universe to Mustang Sally and I loved every second of it. Let me not be modest here though little danger of that.

I’m jus’ sayin’. (THAT is for Father Tom and he will know what I mean....I’m not even going there this morning).

My choir friend wanted to videotape but she forgot her cell phone. She asked for mine but I said nonononono because, man I don’t want this stuff on tape. Although I was once Sister Pat, remember that? THAT’S on tape, I’ll find a link and send to y’all.

Man.....a new life as a dancer....I got to wrap my head around that.

But I’m good, damn right I’m good.

Insert wink here.

Cruz should lose,

If we followed precedent and the body of laws, yes. But SCOTUS has become politicized and will rule in Cruz's favor. The Tribe/Olson opinion on McCain contained a gratuitous finding on Obama finding him eligible since he was born in Hawaii, a natural born citizen via jus solis. Cruz will be found as natural born thru jus sanguinis even though one of his parents was not a US citizen. Everyone seems to forget the controversy over Chester A. Arthur.

I agree Obama should be in jail, especially due to his fraudulent long form BC, which Trump forced him into releasing.

It’s interesting to me that most Trump supporters say that they will support Cruz if he ends up being the nominee; however, the Cruz supporters refuse to support Trump and are almost rabid at times. IMHO we should all be in this together and support whomever the Pubbie candidate is (while it’s early, looks like it will be Trump or Cruz)and quit the ugly attacks against the other guy and especially FReepers - it’s just fodder for the Dims and doesn’t promote camaraderie amongst FReepers.

This is because Trump’s supporters are former Cruz supporters. As we see in this thread most of Cruz’s remaining supporters are single issue social conservative voters. Trumpers would go back to Cruz but Cruzers will never make the jump because Trump has not pandered to their issue like Cruz has.

Cruz has sadly built up this false hope in his campaign that as POTUS with his pen & phone he will magically enact the social conservative agenda. It just isn’t going to happen. Congress is rotten to the core. Look at Ayotte. Once strong anti-PP and now hiding under her desk. POTUS Cruz isn’t going to change that beltway culture.

It’s only two weeks until the election. Time for a good bash. We need a fighter who can beat the Dems. It was bound to go negative and this is a healthy forging battle here, IMO.

Well said. The Dems never make a mistake with their nominees. They vote their way every time.

Good to know! This is supposed to be a faster modem. I’ve tried to watch videos of the Trump rallies and it’s been awful over the past few weeks - nothing but constant buffering (not sure if it’s my modem or that they aren’t using smooth streaming software to prevent it) and I just give up as it takes to long and is very frustrating - hope this new modem allows me to connect to the Internet all the time as well (instead of intermittently) as watch videos w/o constant buffering.

I’m going to pull mine out and try it - sounds so yummy. I may have to go to the store today, though I have projects around the house I wanted to get done whilst watching the Seahawks game (I can dust while the game is on and vacuum during commercials :-)

BTW - guess I missed it but didn’t know until earlier that the Dim debate is on tonight. Guess they wanted even less of an audience having it on a Sunday (in my mind a family night) than a Saturday. How many people would want to watch them regardless of which night it was on. I doubt I’ll be watching and admire the FReepers that have the stomachs to do so. I’ll catch the thread and the report on Fox and Friends in the morning.

If you have no problem with her working at GS while he is President that is fine. Just a question for some.

Sorry for not addressing you in my original post. It's a little premature to determine that she will, or will not be working for GS if Cruz is elected since he hasn't and not a single vote has been cast in any primary. My understanding is she is on a leave of absence from GS, which seems appropriate to me, for example it seems that Trumps response to the questions about a blind trust was also OK at this point in the cycle, but he could have sounded like he had put more thought into it, I'm sure he has and his answer seemed a bit disingenuous, but at this point the answer was fine. Trump has a style that his followers think is great, I wouldn't necessarily equate that with being in control.

I’m just down the street. Did you make enough to serve a guest? Just kidding - but I think we aren’t far apart.

Patton is one of Trump's favorite generals.

"When in doubt, ATTACK!"

George S. Patton Jr.

"I don't fear failure. I only fear the slowing up of the engine inside of me which is saying, 'Keep going, someone must be on top, why not you?'

George S. Patton Jr.

"Nobody ever defended anything successfully, there is only attack and attack and attack some more"

Yeah. She can lie to the press all she wants, but not the FBI. Ask Scooter Libby, who did nothing wrong except try to mislead the FBI about what he knew.

-- Hillary Clinton may be the worst presidential candidate ever --

And yet millions adore her. Boggles the mind, but reality has that ability (to boggle the mind I mean).

BTW, pretending this is a political thread, you’re right about Rubio. I never thought about the used car salesman but that’s a big BINGO!

And he’ll change that odometer as needed per finger in the wind measurement.

Great post.

I have marveled at how presidential campaigns are run on Congressional issues.

she has a lot of things that are all pulling on her at once she may decide to chuck it all.

That is not the Clinton way. Hillary's political ambitions are stronger than anything else in her life, more than food, her health, or other physical necessities. She has a marriage of convenience with Bill's serial infidelities being a non-issue because her political ambitions are more important. Any other "strong" women with character and pride would have divorced the scumbag a long time ago. Instead, she enabled it.

If the FBI surprises me,recommends an indictment to the DOJ, and then the DOJ refuses, I have no doubt that Hillary will continue to run. Her husband didn't resign after Monica and now has high approval ratings. Deny, deny, deny.

There have been several articles with comments by Joe DeGenova (Victoria Toesnig’s hubby) that said that he has spoken with people in the FBI and if she is not indicted there are going to be some folks that the FBI that will be livid (paraphrasing here) and may start leaking items and/or just quit.

There are a few other articles that say that Loretta Lynch has said that she is doing things within the DOJ that will maintain “their policies” for some time.

Trump has mentioned a couple of times about the statute of limitations, and, IIRC, it’s 6 years for at least part of the potential charges and I think that would be after the new President takes office.
It will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

“I am starting to avoid this site because of the infighting. There are some posters who post relentlessly all day and all night. It appears almost pathological to me. The owner relies on donations to keep the site going. It seems to me it is getting harder and harder to get the money he needs. I have been donating, but I have to tell you, if this continues, I will rethink this.”

Some old timers have left, others have stopped donating due to the reason you posted. I have quit going to some threads where I know it will be dominated by those “who post relentlessly all day and all night”. Those posters are mainly nubies, are not civil, they use personal attacks, calling posters derogatory names instead of speaking to the issue. In my opinion, some need to be zotted but that is not happening, so it is better to stay away from those threads and those posters.

I think all that is just keeping the kettle of public debate "hot."

An incredible number of good people have quit under Obama's destructive reign. Leaking confidential material is a crime, and good people won't do it.

A new regime could take meaningful action. I think Trump would. I think NONE of the others would. Out comes the pardon pen if action is taken.

Meet the Press and Face the Nation seem to be tied as the show most likely to make you throw up.

Oh, and Aloha, all. Good morning.
