2016 Iowa Straw Poll Results

PR Newswire

DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 14, 2016

DES MOINES, Iowa, Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The 2016 Online Iowa Straw Poll http://2016IowaStrawPoll.com results are now available. This has been the most inclusive Iowa Straw Poll in history because it has included ALL Iowa voters, both Republicans and Democrats. After the GOP unilaterally canceled the traditional Iowa Straw Poll, America's Term Limits Campaign decided to sponsor an on-line straw poll to give both parties an opportunity to register their votes.

In the Newshttp://kimt.com/2015/12/29/candidates-rave-over-online-iowa-straw-poll/

EARTHQUAKE

Okay, get started "This is an online poll!"
"Whata buncha this and that!" I bet that 34%
for Trump is a solid representation of the actual
ground game right now.

Trumps numbers jibe with the OANN/Gravis Iowa Poll
Jan 11-12th (Trump 34%)

Ping

This must be factored in with all the other polls. No way it jives with them. It’s an outlier and the bottom line average says trump is up over Cruz but maybe now outside the margin of error

Ron Paul won Iowa in 2012. I guess it wouldn’t be a total shocker if his son did the same in 2016.

After one of his Rally’s in Iowa the Trump team conducted a training meeting on participation at a caucus Later in the day he treated folks to a showing of 13 hours. The group was so large an addition theater was used.
Yes many are people who have not been involved in politics before Isn’t that a good thing? We want more people involved
As to democrats. My D equal at last election board informed me she for the first time in life would be voting for the man who promises to build the wall ! As are her friends of the D party.

Ron Paul finished third in the Iowa caucus 4 years ago.

His people are there but dont get picked up by the polls (no landline phone lines).

Calgary values don't seem to be playing well in Iowa

Or perhaps it's the obscured loans from Goldman Sachs and Citibank. Can't imagine those banks are faves with Iowa farming communities. Or that Iowa voters don't much like hypocrisy and devious politicking. Or all three things..

It's Rand Paul that's benefitted. Tells me that would be a place to turn if big bank influence is a voter's issue.

We don’t have too long to go now. So I guess we’ll see what we shall see instead of all this wishful thinking and ‘hope and change’......

In the scheme of things your opinion or mine don’t matter but in a very limited sense of influence, really. My state will go for Trump - that’s pretty certain. I’m for Cruz, but he won’t surpass Trump. I’ll just have to settle for that and make the best of it.

People like RP aren’t even on my radar screen, as are the rest of the slate now.

yeah, but the dems being able to vote Definitely affects Ted’s numbers.

trump is seen as a populist, not so much as a mean puppy killing conservative.

i’m sure dems pushed Ted down the ladder.

If you can find the article where the same Harvard lawyer describes the two schools of thought constitutionist and living constitution in regard to NBC issue.
He states Cruz position on this matter is consistent with Living Constitution and is an indication of the jurist he would appoint.
Think about it!
