What I don’t get is why a woman would be attracted to another woman who’s mannish. If being a lesbian means you’re attracted to women, why wouldn’t you be attracted to someone who looks like...I don’t know...a WOMAN? If you’re going to be attracted to someone who’s mannish, why not make it an actual...man? Same thing goes for gay men who are attracted to effeminate men. It’s never made sense to me.

If woman likes a woman then why does one of them try to look like a guy and pretend they are a guy while the other woman states they like the women who wants to be a guy.
That is mental illness, not that many can comprehend that, or even think about how sick these people are.

This has always interested me too. I have had some very close gay male friends, and they have NEVER been attracted to the flaming effeminate gays. I was wondering, who is? It seems that the more effeminate gay men, while they long for the strong, macho gay types, often don’t end up with them. Often, the really effeminate ones end up with guys who are mildly effeminate too. ALL of them want straight seeming men. But the straight seeming men tend to want other straight seeming men.
Lesbians are slightly different because they aren’t as visual. They seem to be more accepting of all types of lesbians and choose not only according to appearances. Note that alpha dog Ellen DeGeneres (wealthy, funny) was able to snag a gorgeous woman who looks quite feminine.
