BREAKING: Defense Secretary Slips Up, Reveals Obama Admin LED IRAN Straight to Our Sailors

BREAKING: Defense Secretary Slips Up, Reveals Obama Admin LED IRAN Straight to Our Sailors First came the fact that President Barack Obama refused to address the arrest of 10 of our sailors by the Iranian military after their boats had mechanical trouble at sea. Then came news that the Obama administration had offered the Iranians an apology for the release of the sailors.

Now comes the disturbing revelation, apparently delivered by Defense Secretary Ashton Carter, that the Obama administration tipped off the Iranians that our soldiers were lost at sea and requested their aid. The news came from Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, during an interview on TheBlaze’s Dana Loesch shortly after Iran’s arrest of the sailors had come to light.

“I understand that (Secretary of State) John Kerry has indicated, look, when he got word, he and Ash Carter called the Iranians to help take care of our Navy guys, because they had some mechanical problems,” Gohmert said.

Part of the flag that you can see on the back of the boat has red and white stripes. What does the Iranian flag look like?

Yet the replacement crews drove the boats to their destination without issue. How low can one go. Must have been nuclear detonators or essential parts on board that the Iranians needed.

I was wondering what the distance to shore is in that area. It looks narrow, so the “lost at sea” thing is ridiculous as they would have had visual landmarks and really would not have needed electronic equipment to navigate. Another thing, iran is saying both vessels lost their navigational equipment, which seems almost impossible unless they were both intentionally jammed. Even at that, ten sailors and no one has the ability to manually dead reckon or chart a route the old fashioned way? Plus, there had to be alarms notifying them in advance that they were approaching Iranian water. I would also assume these vessels each had two engines, and could have operated on one, so they lost both?

No. Today the story is “mis-navigation”. Lies.

‘Navigation Error’ to Blame for Sailors Straying Into Iranian Waters, Defense Secretary Says

I believe it was a set-up to begin with. Makes me sick.

I believe they were seized on the high seas by Iran in international waters. Not one word the regime has said about this makes sense.

I think so.

Where are the feminists screaming about this poor female sailor being forced to cover her head by the male chauvinist Iranians?

Don't go screwing around with people who hate us unless you have over watch set up.
And I don't mean 30 minute response over watch.
I mean immediate over watch.

And especially -

Don't go screwing around with people who hate us when they have one of their agents installed as your president and Commander In Chief of your armed forces.

“I’ll tell you what happened (my best guess). One boat had trouble. The other boat stopped to help. Realized they couldn’t fix the issue at sea, so they radioed it in.

Their superiors realized there were on the other side of an international border. Thus, they could not send assistance with out “cross border authorization”, which would have to come from the Secretary of State. It goes up the chain of command. John Kerry makes the genius decision that he should ask his Iranian “buddies” to help out, because of course, they owe him a favor (he thinks). He notifies the Navy to tell the boats to stay put and to not resist the Iranians “rescuers” who will be coming by.

That explains why they didn’t just get on the other boat and hightail it, why there was no resistance to a boarding party, and why they didn’t follow standard procedures for captured soldiers. They had already received orders overriding all those normal procedures, and those orders could only come from John Kerry, because this was a cross-border situation in which he would have the final say.”

That doesn’t explain why the Navy doesn’t carry rope anymore. The kind used to pull a boat with another one.

More evidence of Traitorobama giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

...and Congress is complicit.

I assume Iran hasn’t offered to return the other four American hostages they are holding. Kerry didn’t mention them.

“They could have just towed the disabled boat back out into international waters.”

Not if they were ordered to stay put they couldn’t.

No. They are more concerned with their retirement checks. I’m sure they have seen what Obama has done to so many and just keep their mouths shut. Screw America.

I can understand the electrical/mechanical problems in a saltwater environment, but calling Iran? that’s like calling a pedophile meeting and asking them to look for your lost children. No one could do something that stupid, at least not by accident.

You can’t tow a boat back if you have been ordered not to. I’d say the fact that they didn’t do that is good evidence that this is exactly what happened. Otherwise, what explanation is there?

they're keeping the boats.

Really? I thought the sailors left in their boats. Here is one report.

"The sailors left the island at 0843 GMT (3:43 a.m. EST) Wednesday aboard their boats, the Navy said. They were picked up by Navy aircraft, and other sailors took control of the vessels for the return voyage to Bahrain, where the U.S. 5th Fleet is based."
