But as of yet I have detected no deception from Cruz...

I guess the better way to put it is that neither Cruz nor Trump SHOULD be trusted as with anyone in a position of power.

The good news is that Trump & Cruz are in good company by the people that hate them. It's also good news that Cruz & Trump lead the pack and both aren't fighting behind a Bush or someone laughable like Kasich. A Trump or Cruz presidency bodes well for our future IMO.

Do you get paid by the word to post this crap?

Do you even know who Cliff Kincaid is. I seriously doubt it. You seem to know so little about most things. Your hero Trump was looking to open up hotels in Russia *during the days of the Cold War*.

From the article...

"Trump's relationship with Russia goes far back. In 1987, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was meeting with Soviet officials and negotiating the building of "luxury hotels" in Moscow and Leningrad.

A story at the time said Trump had met Soviet Ambassador Yuri Dubinin, who mentioned how much his daughter had admired the "opulent" Trump Tower in New York City. This led to an invitation to Trump to visit the USSR. The story said Dubinin wrote a letter to Trump, who hosted a meeting with Soviet officials in New York.

The invitation to Moscow was issued by Intourist, the giant Soviet in-country travel organization which operated all the hotels for foreigners in the Soviet Union.

Intourist was created in 1929 by Joseph Stalin and run by KGB officials. Intourist hotels were designed for wealthy foreigners, and virtually all the Intourist guides were KGB informers. In fact, one aspect of their jobs was the recruitment of foreigners."

So you ARE smarter than Sarah Palin, Jeff Sessions, Virgil Goode, Phyllis Schafly and Chuck Yeager?

I think I’ll trust their judgment on Trump before going with a nobody like you.

Well what do you have to say about Ronald Reagan’s last major trip of his presidency, to the old Soviet Union, and when he was asked if he felt he was still in an ‘Evil Empire’, he answered with a resounding “No”?

Guess Reagan was a Soviet dupe too, eh?

Explain why far greater intellects than you (i.e., Sarah Palin, Jeff Sessions, Virgil Goode, Phyllis Schafly) are going with Trump and endorsing him then.

I know, you’re smarter than everybody else.

A good president must be a good salesman—Obama was a great snake oil salesman—but he had no inner beliefs—he was a Liberal fool and lived in his own world of unicorns and make nice. Trump is a hard case businessman—He is a capitalist first last and always—as well as a Patriot. I believe he really loves his country—such a thought never occured to Hillary or Obama. I am willing to give him a chance. Not Perfect but maybe the right man for the job.

This is what I have found in reading all of his books.

He loves our country and has common sense solutions.

Did he author this himself or a ghost writer? Because when you actually someone ask him to verbally state what he considers how to make America great again his response is not inciteful, gives no details, and quite frankly verbally is far worse than a student in High School. While he has been a very successful businessman one has to wonder why he cannot speak beyond campaign slogans and catch phrases.

So, you don't make up your own mind? Good to know.

Why would you think that is "good to know"?

You think perhaps with some continued badgering and blubbering away that you could persuade me to adopt your point of view?

Not in a million years sweetheart.

That fact is, I DO make up my own mind, and when solid conservatives that I respect offer opinions based on logic and facts, I weigh all that into whatever decision I make.

You however seem to have deluded yourself into thinking that you know more than all of the esteemed conservative intellects I have cited, which means that you don't know a damn thing, outside of your own Trump-hating naval gazing.

Trump knows everybody. If you’re not friendly with everybody, you can’t do business like Trump does. As for who his “friends” really are, you don’t call Hillary a complete mess and call her hubby an abuser (or whatever he’s calling Bill the Rapist now) even if you’re *secretly* on their side. I’m thinking Trump can pretty much intimidate anyone he comes into contact with, so why should Bill/Hill be exceptions? I think Trump is the kind of person who can become what he wants to appear to be. He wants to be great, perhaps he will become great on our side. Not my choice of candidate, but if he gets the nom he will have to be.

“Ask Sarah Palin about Trump (hint: Sarah said “thank God he’s running!”)

Ask Senator Jeff Sessions, a conservative who is nobody’s fool, is all in for Trump, and mostly wrote Trump’s immigration enforcement plan.

Ask former Congressman Virgil Goode, whose Constitutional bonafides are unassailable, has come out and endorsed Donald Trump.

Ask Phyllis Schafly, the godmother of modern conservatism, who has come out and strongly endorses Trump, saying he is the only candidate who can break the back of the institutional ‘kingmakers’ and establishment GOPe fat cats.

Ask retired Air Force General Chuck Yeager, who likewise is a solid conservative, is on board for Trump.

PS - Happy 6 Month Anniversary, Welcome to FR. “

MK, these are merely people........What about in the 1980’s when the Italian mob controlled all the cement in NYC ? Trump dodn’t have to build Trump Towers. He could have built outhouses!

Donald Trump is first and foremost, a salesman.

So is everyone else in this world....some are just better than others.

The solutions presented are not ideological, but really common sense that seems to evade D.C. and the press.

Then why doesn't he express them verbally? I owe it all around to at least read his campaign website again, and will do. But if he can't express in conversation what comes across as "really common sense" solutions in his book, then how well does he know them?

It seems to me that when he actually speaks, he says little with a lot of words. He is self-absorbed, so self-absorbed that when he's asked the stupid but not-unexpected question (considering the Christian forum), "Have you ever asked God for forgiveness?" --

He hesitates, the audience laughs nervously, and he says, "That's a tough question." And he's serious.

It's all about The Donald. What if the next question, if he says yes, is "What was it for?" What flaws will he have to admit to? Then how will he have to square it with his "total winner" image? Not an option!

A cool thinking Christian like Cruz probably would have done what you or I would have done -- instantly given the already-known answer, "Of course," and then used the opportunity to advantage with something like, "Next question, please? And how about something pertinent to the issues, like Obamacare or immigration?"

Not Trump. Nope, good ol' slow-thinking, warm-headed, self-absorbed Trump spends the next minute or two answering a simple question with the wrong answer for this and every other Christian I know: "Not me -- I deal with God differently."

Vote for that, be accountable for that kind of befuddled ego at the top of the country, at your own risk.
