Watch: Cruz Says It's Me Or Trump
Conservative Review ^ | January 13th, 2016 | Chris Pandolfo

GOP presidential candidate and Iowa frontrunner Ted Cruz pushed back against Donald Trump during an interview in NH tonight.

Cruz suggested that Trumps’ ceaseless questioning of Cruz’s eligibility for the presidency this week “starts to suggest maybe he’s feeling a little rattled.” He also stated that the race for the GOP nomination is increasingly a two man contest between himself and Mr. Trump, and that is why the GOP candidates are starting to attack Mr. Cruz’s candidacy.

Cruz also discussed his tax plan, a 10% flat tax on all individuals that will abolish the IRS, and his faith, which he “will not apologize for.”

It is between the two of them and the GOPe HATE both of them.

That should wake the GOPe up about the voters.

It won’t.

It’s Trump.

If Cruz can get his eligibility questions resolved, maybe Trump will consider him for VP.

OK, in that case I’ll choose Trump. However, if the nominee is Cruz then I would vote for Cruz. If it’s anyone else then I’ll be writing in Trump.

It’s Cruz.

If Trump doesn’t totally loose it on Cruz before this is over with, Trump would make a fine candidate for Head of the Department of Homeland Security. Trump can get a chance to build his hyperbolic wall.

Only a candidate has standing. Cruz can’t bring suit against himself and federal courts cannot give advisory opinions.

Since Trump is the only candidate raising this as an issue, he should take it to court. Put up or shut up.

Remember when Huckabee won Iowa and it was going to be either Huck or Romney? Then McSlime went on to win New Hampshire unexpectedly when he was supposed to be dead...and then on to win Nomination.
The GOPe has plenty of Kabuki theatre left to perform.

Does anybody really think Trump would be satisfied with anything but being the top of the ticket? If he doesn’t win the nomination, there’s no way he’ll consider any other position, whether that’s VP or cabinet member. It’s far more likely he will run 3rd party if he doesn’t win the nomination than accept playing the 2nd or lower fiddle.

But for two completely different reasons.

They hate Donald Trump because he is politically incorrect and to them he stands out as the bigot the party is always accused of being. His language embarrasses them.

Ted Cruz, on the other hand is ideologically incorrect. Conservatism of that kind is not accepted and should not be put out there. Plus, they look at him as rigid.

Yeah they really don’t want either one. However, if they had to choose between the lesser of two evils I’m pretty sure that they would pick Donald Trump.

Trump would never take anything in govt that’s not President. He would, however, gladly build the wall as a real estate developer and would probably build it bigger, stronger and with all kinds of commercial properties around it and would spend half what govt would spend.

Yes with Ted at 14.5% in the polls its Trump. And it appears Cruz is not on the VP list. Maybe AG after the dust settles.

That's as big a mistake as trying to mediate a fight between a husband and wife.

You just slipped from a TEN POINT lead to a THREE POINT within the 4.4 m o e lead in the Register poll “Surging Ted” so you really shouldn’t be puffing up your chest.
