Republican Party Uses State of the Union Response to Attack Donald Trump
Breitbart Big Government ^ | 01/12/2016 | Julia Hahn

A new CBS report ahead of President Obama's last State of the Union address details how the Republican response - delivered by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley - will serve as a rebuttal to the policies of GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. The new report seems to underscore prior reporting from the Washington Post that "Rep. Paul Ryan is rapidly emerging as Republicans’ anti-Trump."

CBS writes: "The Republican response to the President Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday evening appears to rebut… some of the policies espoused by Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, according to excerpts released by House Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wisconsin."

According to Ryan's excerpts, it seems as though Haley will focus particularly on chastising Trump's call for curbing immigration:

"I am the proud daughter of Indian immigrants who reminded my brothers, my sister and me every day how blessed we were to live in this country. My story is really not much different from millions of other Americans. Immigrants have been coming to our shores for generations to live the dream that is America…Today, we live in a time of threats like few others in recent memory. During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."

The traitorous GOPe is at it again. I didn't listen to either speech, can anyone verify that this is what they did? Could there be any clearer evidence that they hate and fear Trump more than they hate Obama?

"No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."

Sounds like assimilation? Yes, one would think that would be nice. However, Obama's dramatic increase of immigrants of diverse natures has proven otherwise. Further, the influx of Muslim immigrants who not only won't assimilate, but demand their own laws and traditions and treatment is patently opposite assimilation.

Lastly, there is nothing in the US Constitution that says we have to welcome anybody. Whatever we allow should be for OUR benefit, not the prospective entrants.

Screw Paul Ryan. One would think he'd have had something to say about the 7 worst years this country has ever seen in terms of individual freedom instead of picking on Trump.

Trump did it again and did his job. Today he got $20 million in free advertising. No candidate can compete against this. In the time Obama did his lie-fest, Trump’s twitter subscribers went up 20,000. Trump is on target for adding another 500,000 at minimum on social media.

Wow! Trump is amazing.

You would think...but no.

Paul Ryan is America’s enemy, just like his predecessor was.

It was lovely to hear someone named Nimrata Randhawa inform us what American values are.

I’m sitting here watching Nikki Haley trying to tell me how to think, what to feel and I’m getting real tired of that crap. I hear it every day that I watch the local news, and that’s every day. Nikki Haley just gives me that same kind of feeling. I almost look forward to the next commercial.

So Obama attacks Trump at the State of the Union, then the GOPe agent Nikki Haley comes out and attacks Trump in the official Republican response to the State of the Union...

And people say bipartisanship is dead!

I actually think there was communication and coordination between the republican and the democrat establishment on the state of the union address and the republican response,

The RINO/Democrat/presstitute-complex still don’t understand that Trump’s appeal is that he is not one of them.

Their attacks are the best endorsement he could get.
