Storm Clouds Form: Bob Woodward Compares Hillary Scandal to Watergate (FBI revolt brewing)
National Review ^ | January 10, 2016 | John Fund

Hillary Clinton's e-mail scandal has been a difficult one for the public to understand and for journalists to explain. But Bob Woodward, the Washington Post reporter who helped uncover Watergate 40 years ago, clarified things a lot on Fox News Sunday today when he said that an e-mail in the most recently released batch shows Hillary trying to "subvert the rules" that she expected others to follow.

A few days earlier, Joe DiGenova, a well-respected former district attorney for the District of Columbia, told The Laura Ingraham Show that "there is vitriol of an intense amount developing" in the intelligence community and that FBI agents "are already in the process of gearing themselves to basically revolt if [the Justice Department] refuses to bring charges" against either Hillary Clinton or her former State Department staffers.

Only 23 percent of independents view her as "honest and trustworthy" in the latest Quinnipiac poll. Other Democrats, including Joe Biden and Elizabeth Warren, would be remiss if they weren't preparing a Plan B in case this number dips even lower, making her a more vulnerable general-election candidate.

I think Woodward must be working with the White Hut. They want Hillary out of there ‘cause she easily could lose to Trump. They’d prefer Biden/Warren. Having a LIB equate Hillary’s crimes to Watergate is the perfect way to take her down.

Kind of like when Clinton/Gore sold our missile and nuke technology to the chicoms for campaign cash . Nothing happened . Nothing .

Thank you for an accurate summation of a billion dollar scam.

The clintoon mafia make the genrals of Nigeria look like pikers when it comes to skimming money. The clintoons just wholesale harvest money.

I wonder what she sold. Look at what the Saudis are doing now. A wholesale turnover. Considering having Aramco do an IPO? I wonder why?

It’s too late for a sacrificial pawn.

Hillary’s arrogance dooms her.

Poor Hillary. Maybe she can get Bill to teach her how to do that lip-quiver thing. She’s under a lot of pressure these days, I’m hoping she’ll crack up very publicly.

Protect their pension... exactly correct.

They also saw what happened to the poor slobs that spilled their guts in the Bengazi testimony. They were crucified and exiled as examples to other little civil service employees who have notions of becoming noble.

IF there is a bright light of truth IF Trump becomes president it will be the first of what I hope are many examples that he is not a loyal member of the collective cabal.

The security laws would still apply to people like Snowden. Just not to the elite who of the globalist bent.

I’m not sure what makes you think the marxists are for whistle blowers messing up the police state as it goes about violating the constitution acting like the KGB. They hate the constitution. They want a global government that is marxist.

My feeling is that if this thing reaches the point of actual indictment (or the very strong probability thereof), Hillary will have a “sudden recurrence of a serious medical problem” which will necessitate her withdrawal from the general election campaign and retirement from public life.

“No one” is interested in seeing her in jail. (Not referring here, of course, to you or me or any of the “little people”, as we do not count in these matters) The goal is just that she is put out of the way permanently so she can no longer influence either party or national politics.

The Democratic nominating convention would probably see some sort of reputation-protecting rear guard action fought by Clinton loyalists and cameo appearances by Bill and/or Chelsey (Hillary Clinton 2.0?)urging Democrats to fight for the values Hillary espoused.

Once the general election is over (”The Republic is saved!”), she will gradually recover and begin collecting huge fees as a public speaker (like husband Bill). The charges, if brought, will be negotiated down to a big fine and some sort of slap on the wrist measures, like loss of her security clearance, etc. akin to what General Petraus received. Lower level loyalists may or may not be so lucky. The Clintons will not care so long as they are safe.

The only fly in the ointment is if DoJ dallies. Should the indictment, if brought, come too late in the general election cycle, it will be impossible for the remaining Democratic campaigns to shift staff and other resources to effectively compete in the general election against the Republicans. In that case, Hillary might be compelled to campaign while under indictment. Normally, that would be fatal to a campaign. But, as you have pointed out, we are dealing with the Clintons here.

The X-Files could not have become a hit series unless the FBI were internally corrupt to begin with. That’s a precondition for the audience to believe the plot.

I’m skeptical about a revolt....I’m sure they’ll be furious, but the most important consideration of any government employee is to protect their pension.

Problem is: this isn't so much about pensions as it is about LIVES. The handling of classified information is very high stakes, the kind of stuff people get KILLED over if it's leaked. Hillary was playing JV games with professional killers, people who need to send top leadership the message "secret means SECRET", people who don't just know what closets the skeletons are in but where the anonymous graves are, people who can collapse the system thru inaction alone.

Will this once great republic come to it’s senses or have we forever become just another banana republic in a sea of banana republics on this planet? That is the only question remaining to be answered.

There are some deceptively unassuming people you just don't mess with.
Hillary messed with them. A lot of them.
This kind of guy.

The FBI is going to revolt if the Justice Department refuses to bring charges against either Hillary Clinton or her former State Department staffers.

How many business hours do you estimate that will take?

Hildebeast would insure that the spilling of said lackey's guts was not only a figure of speech.
