The Washington Post published a glowing profile Friday morning about Heidi Cruz - highlighting her professional accomplishments - beyond the fact that she is Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)'s wife.
The profile was mostly flattering, pointing to her career at Goldman Sachs in Houston before she stepped down when her husband decided to run for president.
Curiously, however, the article began pointing out the similarities between Heidi and Hillary Clinton:
-snip-
Is that a compliment?

Heidi has not yet publicly wished for a co-prezzidance.
Let’s see. One rose to the higher levels of a powerful prIvate company on her merits, the other filched off government for decades. Yep. Same life stories.
Did she specialize in cattle futures trading at Goldman? :=)
Goldman Sachs hasn’t filched off government for decades?
Pretty soon we'll hear from Ted's 7th grade gym teacher.
Is that a compliment?
Nope
So Ted doesn’t marry beauty pageant winners for eye candy?
I’m not necessarily for Teddy but for sure his wife is wayy better than Hillary since she hasn’t run interference for her predator husband, I doubt she’s a congenital liar, she got her job by herself and not because her husband was powerful, and most likely she didn’t get fired from her first job for unethical behavior and outright lying.
Comparing her to the witch is pathetic.

So she’s a smart, successful individual? And?
Not wild about the fact she works for Government Sachs.
Tell me why.
They have the same initials, H. C.
Cue the freaky music....
Same initials - - -
That is the ONLY similarity I see.
Not even that they are both natural women (they are not).
Oh, hellary prefers HRC, so maybe the initial are out, too.

I think there is about one and a half ax handles difference. JMO.
What the Washington Post claims to observe is as likely as not to originate entirely in the minÄs and wishful thinking of the editors and writers.
I think I just barfed a little bit.
If the NYT says something nice about her, Heidi should demand a retraction.
Wow, that is disappointing.
