Bill Clinton Reminds Us Why Hillary Must Not Win
Patriot News Daily ^ | 1/4/2016 | Staff

No one but Bill Clinton could highlight with such clarity why it's so important for us to make sure that Democrats don't win the 2016 election. Jeb Bush could talk for 10 hours without ever chilling a conservative's blood the way Clinton did with less than a hundred words.

Hitting the campaign trail on Monday, Clinton told a New Hampshire crowd why they needed to pull the lever for his wife. "We need to recognize something that has received almost no attention in this election, which is that the next president of the United States will make between one and three appointments to the United States Supreme Court," he said. "And I know who I want doing that."

As a matter of fact, the next president could reasonably be expected to replace as many as four Supreme Court justices. Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Antonin Scalia, Anthony Kennedy, and Stephen Breyer are all well into their 70s. In a worst-case scenario, Hillary Clinton could replace all four with liberals. If that happens, it would make today's Supreme Court look like a miniature CPAC conference.

What kinds of cases might come before the Supreme Court over the next decade? How might they be asked to interpret the Second Amendment? Or the First? Will voter ID laws come before them? Super PACs? Hate speech? Illegal immigration? As we learned this year, these nine justices can forever alter the American cultural landscape in an instant. What will our religious freedoms look like after a few years of liberal Supreme Court domination?

Always mindful of the fiscally-conservative, socially-liberal Republicans, most of the GOP candidates have shied away from this issue. Unapologetic Christians like Mike Huckabee and Ted Cruz bring it up, but the moderates know which way the social winds are blowing. From a political standpoint, it might actually be more effective to let Clinton do the talking. Americans may or may not be up for another four years of Democrat leadership; they do not want a Supreme Court that is just a rubber stamp for the hard left. The more Hillary and Bill remind them of what they're really voting for, the more the fence-sitters might reconsider.

Anyone who thinks a Republican-dominated Senate would stand in Hillary's way on these nominations has a lot more faith in those yahoos than they've earned. And of course, there's no guarantee that there will be a Republican-dominated Senate next January. It's entirely possible that we are headed straight for a disaster. And if Scalia or Kennedy hang up their robes, we will play witness as Hillary Clinton finishes the job Barack Obama started: the fundamental transformation of America.

Hillary is quite good at picking. Her nose, that is.

Only that large percentage of Americans who are mentally unstable would look upon a Hillary presidency with any degree approaching positive.

We have two lesbians and one tottering old AC/DC crone on the bench and one male idiot who thinks applying foreign law to an American court is a positive thing.

A real American president could change all that and the courts wouldn't have to be tossed out with all the other federal garbage in case of a serious revolt.

As a senator she supported a miserable 3 bills, two of them to rename buildings. As the Secretary of State she made a mess out of the middle east which were never so destabilized as this before. (Although Bush I and Bush II are to blame for going after the nation that was the glue that held the mess together) She will make brief appearances and duck out of sight to create the appearance she is "out there" campaigning but she really can't face the heat of the people's questions. She is so lucky to face such an apologetic opponent as Bernie Sanders, he practically applauds her when she comes on stage for debate. I pray that most Americans can see through the lies and recognize the horrible disaster that Obama's policies have made for America. She intends to carry on in his tradition?

Instead of looking towards womanhood to catapult her into the oval orifice she should bow out and face swift prosecution for her many crimes.

Yes, I’d be ecstatic at the prospect of Hillary nominating a youthful, energized Ruth Bader Ginsberg clone to the court. And I guess we’d all be happy with a man-hating black Lesbian racist and a Moderate Muslim female as well. /s

That’d about cinch our downfall in just a case or two.

Those actions by a President Hitlery would fan the fires of revolt.

No wonder leftist loons want to seize our guns.

Absolutely.

McConnell would let it happen - gladly. Eagerly

Ryan would support it in spirit, too.

Republican as a party, especially leadership lost its way decades ago. Their ENTIRE world is Washington DC and surrounding. They live, eat and breath good media coverage, their dachas, their willing second-tier power, their perks and God only knows how much they steal. They are actually worse than Democrats.

A great many dangerous and irreversible precedents have been set by “O”.

An unprincipled person like Evita will certainly NOT deny herself the advantages which those precedents have established...neither in the expediency of implementing her plans nor in the indiscriminate practice (wholly and criminally unchallenged) of executive overreach, which “O” has enjoyed. Count on it.

Congress did not challenge “O” and certainly never WILL challenge any subsequent occupant of the WH.

I DID say the precedents were IRREVERSIBLE...that’s what makes them dangerous.

in actuality, just about any female justice would portend the endgame; certainly, there are right leaning women in the electoral populace but in terms of numbers, they are a pittance...

If Hillary wins and replaces Scalia and Kennedy, it’s ballgame. The libs would then have a 6-3 majority. Anything brought before the court would go the liberals’ way. And given that anything contentious is almost immediately challenged in federal court, this would effectively give the liberals the final word.

This would go beyond just the federal level. We could rack-up wins like crazy every two years at state level, and the libs would challenge anything they didn’t like.

By the grace of God, we still have Scalia and Kennedy in place. As a result, Obama hasn’t had the opportunity to tilt the court that much - he’s simply replaced liberals with liberals. But if Hillary wins, the reality of the actuarial table sets in, and our prayers for the health of the justices become more important. It’d take a generation to begin to recover. We don’t have that kind of time.

I’d go farther than this.

This election is the last chance for the survival of our nation.

A non-Hillary president will not ensure its survival.

But a Hillary victory WILL ensure the nation’s death.

And some FReepers will go down wrapped warmly in their self-righteousness because their refused to vote for the candidate with the “R” beside his name because said candidate was not their sainted choice. . . .anyone but their sainted choice is just as bad as Hitlery.

Other freepers illustrate Einstein's definition of insanity when they think elections alone can restore liberty. They don't realize that if their very freedoms depend on the outcome of a presidential election, then the republic they think they live in is actually a fantasy.
