I see. Without winning, he can still do very well, and the net losses to his delegate count will be negligible.

He will indeed.

What’s funny is that we even discuss Iowa anymore. It hasn’t been a bellwether for years. Ditto New Hampshire.

“if (Cruz) beats Trump in New Hampshire”

I’m all in for Cruz, but I don’t think Cruz winning New Hampshire is likely.

Sounds like he’s ‘trolling’ for job opportunities.

It will be good to see Ted win some early races. I do only see Donald and Ted winning the vast majority of states, but Trump being favored, overall.

Exactly why we wait and let it play out, i’ll be backing Cruz but will support Trump if he wins the nomination.

My Take is a bit different:
Iowa goes to Cruz because of his religion based talk, but Trump is a solid number two.
New Hampshite goes to Christie because its an oddball state but Trump is a solid number two.
All the rest go Trump in a big way. Even Florida.

Um... Trump has had DOUBLE the poll numbers of any other candidate in New Hampshire since August

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2016/president/nh/new_hampshire_republican_presidential_primary-3350.html

I see now way in hell that Trump loses New Hampshire.

media loves it. gives the whole country a look at how the candidates behave on a national stage. helps them make up their minds.

If that’s a “racist comment”, probably every FReeper is just as “racist”!

Same here. If Cruz were the only candidate running in New Hampshire he might... might, mind you...win the NH primary.

Obi-Wan Kenobi described New Hampshire primary voters saying “New Hampshire. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.”

I would love to see Trump lose New Hampshire to Cruz but that just isn’t going to happen. Krispy Kreme may cut Trump’s margin down to the point where “inevitability” is in doubt going forward but I just can’t imagine a scenario where Cruz wins there.

The most popular candidate by far of either party this year - and as far back as I can remember - and all the mass media wants to do is tear him down ? Why not discuss the issues he ( and others) raise ? And why not investigate and report on the illegal acts of those in high office ( as was the expectation of our Founding fathers ?) The media is sicko - and it doesn’t bode well for our republic

Trump has almost 3 times Christies support in New Hampshire.

In what universe does Christie’s support skyrocket 15-20 points and take New Hampshire from Trump who has led there since August by a country mile?

The way elections are won and lost, one candidate beats another. Its going to happen when votes actually start being counted, someone wins and someone loses.

‘1. Why is the aide a former Trump aide?
2. Who does the aide work for now?’

Hello!

What will the trump detractors do if he gets the nomination?

I will support Cruz if he gets it. But it’s at least as likely trump gets it. Will they hate him for eight years? Will they support Hilary? Will they hold their breath waiting for another contender to come along months after the deadline?
