I was googling my home address about two weeks ago because I wanted to see if there were pictures and on the first page of results I saw my name so I clicked on it. What popped up was a page showing I am registered republican and all the elections I voted in... It showed I voted in primaries and national elections (I never fail to vote!!) going back several years. I was surprised but I didn’t really mind, just figured it was public record somehow... Just checked again, it definitely shows my DOB and also includes my voter ID number

I saw online years ago where my voting proclivities were exposed for general perusal. I happen to be a quintuple agent.

Wasn’t voter data in the news last week or so? Instead of keeping it secure, just let everyone have it.

“Voter data, while immensely valuable to political candidates, often lacks proper security measures to keep it protected. State laws don’t treat the information as sensitive, allowing almost anyone to request access to it. Addresses and phone numbers might seem benign, but when cross-referenced with other compromised databases, the information can assist in phishing attacks or identity fraud.”

Oh yes. I feel fortunate that everyone at my precinct knows me, so nobody else could use my info to vote (I think).
