I believe the Republican senators also disliked Taft and Goldwater, didn’t they?
Being loathed in DC is one of Cruz’s biggest strengths.
Yeah.....and look how horrible Goldwater lost. We don’t need a loss this round. I really hope Trump gets it because we can win the election. I am just not sure Cruz can get that 51 percent or worse the electoral college needed. Will he get Ohio and Florida????????? Not positive on that.
Cruz has my vote.
Trump wouldn’t break 40% nationwide.
FWIW, he outperforms Trump when matched up, head to head, against Hillary.

Oh Lord. If that is the case then Cruz probably won’t hit 30 percent. That is disconcerting. We could actually lose the Presidency in 2016. We better find someone who could win.

Yeah but they both lose......one just loses less. Only one of our candidates actually beats Clinton. We are so screwed. The electoral college is a bear for us. The Democrats have it so easy with the electoral.....so unfair.
My wife reacted very badly to hearing her standard shriek, which is a good sign for our side.
I hope so. She’s doing pretty well in the debates so far against Bernie who most liberals want but can’t seem to convince the rest of their crazy Democrats that he is the best of the mix. We have the same problem with Cruz.......he has a really good solid base but it is sorta small like Bernie’s supporters. They will go to the polls though both groups.
Trump supported TARP and the Auto Bailouts. He is against entitlement reform. He came out against Ryan’s mild budget reductions as being too hard on low income people. Other than immigration and one or two other issues, Trump is no different than other establishment Republicans or even Democratic pols.
The activists like Cruz and would walk on broken glass to vote for him. He could win a turnout style election and is doing the things he needs to do in order to win.
I think Rubio is the most electable, but I have some concerns about him ideologically. Jeb is the least electable.
They hate him in DC because they know that their gig is about to be up.
Way past time to root these friggin traitors out.
Don’t Be Fooled Again
Love him in Iowa loathe him in DC
The WSJ may not realize it, but that’s as strong an endorsement of Ted as one can find.
