Trumpâs unexpected and sustained popularity has, at least in part, been fueled by his appeal to a voting bloc that seems to be emerging: blue-collar workers without college degrees who are slightly younger than the traditional Republican voter. Many say they havenât cared about politics until now, as they flock to Trump rallies like groupies to a rock concert, read his books, buy his products, quote his jokes and follow his social-media accounts.
But is their devotion to Trump deep enough to vote?
For those who donât regularly vote in primaries, doing so for the first time is a hurdle â especially in Iowa, which uses a caucus system that can intimidate first-timers.
In states with early primary contests, Trumpâs staffers are trying to teach their supporters how to vote and get a commitment that they actually will. Before each rally here, Trumpâs state co-chairs walk the crowd through how the caucuses work and urge them to attend. But they are also hoping word will spread through social media and in conversations after church, at the school bus stop, during coffee breaks and over holiday dinners.

The Uniparty will stop at nothing to keep the borders open and the government unaccountable.
Ludicrous desperation at the Compost.
You should still vote. I live in California and have voted in every election in the past 30 years.
I will not show up at a rally, but I will damn sure vote.
‘People are going to go to a 3 hour rally, but not to a 3 minute ballot box.”
Same thoughts here. There logic is just lunacy.
It is still best not to get overconfident. Romney had huge crowds at the end also.
Systematic thinkimg of the anti-Trump crowd, all of which live in a dream world.
Takes a lot more time and energy to attend a convention than to show up at the polls on election day...just sayin’.
scumbag obama to squeeze every ounce of change he can in next 12 months

Just keep picking those nits.
The Enemedia is absolutely united and determined to keep Trump from winning in Iowa and get him off on the wrong foot for the next states.
They will do anything, say anything, write anything, lie anything, demean anything, smear anything to stop him cold in Iowa.
By election night they will be shaking and having nervous convulsions awaiting what they won't want to hear..... a Trump sweep in Iowa.

If my recollection is correct, McGovern couldn’t even carry SD. I lived in Watertown at the time, just happened to be in the SD NG too.
They were interviewing in Iowa. There’s no ballot box, it’s a caucus. You have to show up, spend several hours listening to specifying, being moved from place to place, waiting to be counted and verified. It can be a pain in the neck to do and it takes about all day to get done. Maybe, just maybe, they are telling the truth and some of Trump’s avid support will stay home on caucus day, as they have said. You can’t define bad news as an attack on your candidate all the time.
Please vote for Trump in your state, because here in Nevada, the voter fraud kills Republican voters.
We need your help-—even at a distance.
I will vote, for the primary challenger of noem and thine,,,if there are any.
I will not vote for any democrat at any level
Secret ballot, you know.
Seems to me it’s far more of an effort to attend a rally, given the crowds, parking, seating weather and other random factors than to show up to vote. I mean, they are really trying hard to talk down the blowout this is going to turn into.
The problem is, nobody listens to the propaganda any more, we are all so sick of it after the long dismal obama years.
And they stand in line for three hours to attend the three hour rally and then the traffic leaving the rally. Yes, it’s real.
You're being kind to refer to it as logic.
Ok. I admit I did not read the article, just the headline, so I could be wrong in this case.
However... I might lose a bet once in a while but if I bet every time that the media will lie to make Trump look bad or weak, I will mostly win and on the whole make a lot of money... assuming there was anyone out there stupid enough to bet against me.
