There was surprising consensus on today's Morning Joe concerning the Washington Post cartoon that depicted Ted Cruz as an organ grinder and his youngs girls as monkeys. From Mika Brzezinski to Joe Scarborough to Harold Ford, Jr., there was universal condemnation of Ann Telnaes' foul image.
Willie Geist said it best: "people look for moments of bias in the media. Here's one right here. You can't be selectively offended by cartoons. If that had been a Democrat, or God forbid the President of the United States, they would have lit the house on fire. There would have been wall-to-wall coverage on it."

I hate to use this language...but....the New York Times, the Washington Post, Barack Hussein Obama, Hillary Clinton and the entire Democrat Party are the lowest form of vermin, humanity on this God’s Earth!!! I want Cruz to be president, but on the other hand, I don’t want those two sweet little girls to be put through the lib-media’s meat grinder.

In addition, the participation of kids and family in a campaign is a complete non issue. They fear a normal functional family versus the Clinton 3 ring circus.

I have wondered if the Post and the cartoonist could be sued over this. I would love to see Ted Cruz own the WaPo and send the cartoonist back to earning an honest living. How would Trump handle this??
Geist is generally the only brain on that show. I’m sure NBC will knock that out of him eventually.

You ever hear of that woman Lily Tang Williams? She grew up in communist China, she can’t believe what is going on here, how incredibly naive people are. Communists are literally taking over the USA and people are just completely oblivious to it. Think about it: We got a hardcore communist as Mayor of New York city, the President is communist and now the Democrats are running two communists for President: Hillary and Bernie Sanders. That party is a huge threat to this nation and now that they’ve infested the GOP, they are an even bigger threat. Look at California with the communist Jerry Brown running it, giving free healthcare to illegals which is like saying “free healthcare for the entire world courtesy of the US taxpayer” or giving drivers licenses to illegals then saying “anyone who has a license can vote” WTF? It’s communism combined with treason to ensure even more communism is brought forth.
