House Speaker Paul Ryan is dismissing conservative criticism of the $1.1 trillion spending bill that Congress passed on Friday, saying that Republican leaders "fought for as much as we could get" in the compromise legislation.

"We advanced our priorities and principles. Not every single one of them, but many of them. And then we're going to pick up next year and pick up where we left off and keep going for more," he told NBC's Chuck Todd in an interview on Meet the Press.

In a sense you are right Speaker Ryan. You advanced the priorities as dictated by your Corporate/K-Street overlords. You gave away everything the GOP voter cares about.

As much as I hate the Mulatto Muslim and his Iranian handler——we also dodged a bullet by not voting in Romney and this idiot boy!

Well, add a couple more points for The Donald. Ryan is proving Trump’s point about the people holding office being just plain stupid, and the need for superior negotiators.

Majorities in the House and Senate, and the GOP passes a bill like this? Clearly they have complete contempt for us. I think this is their answer to the Republican electorate’s anger and support of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz. They’re flipping us off. My one small comfort is that my own congressman, Doug Lamborn (R-CO) voted against the omnibus bill. He has a 99% conservative rating by the Heritage Center.

You don’t suppose he BELIEVES that crap, do you? I mean that’s well into delusional thinking.

There seems to be something about having THE MAJORITY that Ryan seems not to grasp.

There is a movement to remove Ryan in the primary. Do what one can to support such a result.

If “fought” is a euphemism for “bent over”, um, yeah. You did.

Ryan, you moron!

Pelosi used to physically lock you out of the budget meetings when she was Speaker.

Why couldn’t you return the favor?

Putz.

I’m disappointed but not that surprised. Hasn’t Paul been ‘palling around with’ Luis Gutierrez, the Congressman who acts as a lobbyist for La Raza? It’s becoming clear that Speaker Ryan is not a speaker for my side at all.
