Actually the Register poll is generally considered the gold standard of state polling but this does reinforce their findings.

Right, because no one ever gets any money that has crossed dirty palms.

Ted is the most conservative candidate we have seen since Reagan

Cruz lied about his vote for TPA, amnesty, h1bvisas & deportation!

Many lobbyists along with the NRCC (headed by Greg Walden) & NRSC, filled with candidates like Cruz, Paul, Graham, Rubio are LYING to Trump supporters in emails selling them bogus Trump gear which finances THEIR Rino candidates. When will just ONE of these Senators expose their scam against Trump? They have taken millions of $ from candidates...do not be fooled.

See: More GOP fundraising on the Trump name! Now its the Senate! http://freerepublic.com/focus/gop/3370427/posts?page=35#35

I was so fired up about Trump last week. The muslim ban would have been revolutionary. Still might be. But researching here this weekend, three disturbing things:

1. Trump supports Ethanol.

[Funny thing that Cruz is doing so well when he opposes tyrannical ethanol subsidies and mandates. It would be awsome if Cruz wins the straw poll.]

2. Trump called Cruz ‘kinda manaical’.

Unless there really is something wrong with Cruz [which I seriously doubt], then Trump is attempting to destroy an amazing patriot.

3. Trump has started up a controversy that paints Justice Scalia as a racist! If Scalia is forced to resign in disgrace, the supreme court turns into an Obama-banana-court:

Trump hits Scalia over comments on black students

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3372041/posts

“Scalia was essentially paraphrasing Thomas Sowell’s well-researched and apt argument.” — 9YearLurker

If Cruz can defend Scalia in a timely manner, a HUGE feather in his cap. And sure, talk radio might defend Scalia sufficiently, but there is a risk of a mindless stampede overwhelming him or even a stroke or heart attack for crying out loud.

Hey look at you! You're batting 1000. You're wrong on every point including the toupee.

Ignorance is bliss.

Selzer’s ‘secret sauce’ is probably a list of past GOP caucus-goers.

I’ve probably talked to hundreds of previous GOP caucus-goers in the last few months and my impression matches her trends.

The problem with declaring such impressions conclusive is that there are always wild cards. Huckabee and Santorum brought in new attendees. (Huckabee supporters have proven to be more savvy than Santorum supporters).

Trump might bring in new attendees en masse, or his crowds may be mostly interested in seeing a celebrity slap down the powers that be and won’t understand their own potential role.

She says that see does take into account new caucus participants, particularly when you have some novel candidate like Trump in the race. We’ll have to wait to see if she got it right.

"Sounds more like sour grapes than an accurate poll"

It's like more accurate than not. There are others showing similar results.

But, what is amazing is that there are people who actually think Iowa is important to the nomination.

Des Moines Register had Carson winning by a mile a few weeks ago.

I’m not too sure I trust the DMR or any polls at this point. Too many of them are ‘commissioned’ by agenda-driven entities who pay for desired results.

Next month, actual voting starts. Then, we can see how accurate some of the polls are.

All polling do this, the difference is that some of them know what they are doing. What we are seeing these days is that the old methods are no longer working.

‘Yeb is near 0%. ‘
Actually, with a 6.5% margin of error, he could be in the negatives...
