Ted Cruz has a national security problem
Washington Post ^ | December 3, 2015 | Jennifer Rubin

It sounds close to the lead-from-behind approach adopted by the Obama Administration for Libya: air strikes but no troops, a de facto alliance with moderate local forces to do the ground fighting, and no follow-up. The approach at least succeeded in ending the Gadhafi regime, but it failed as a policy because the U.S. and NATO abandonment of Libya after Gadhafi’s fall allowed jihadist groups to flourish as the country descended into chaos. If anyone hasn’t learned the lessons of Libya, it’s Mr. Cruz.

The WSJ Editors want Big Brother to know EVERYTHING.

They haven’t met an intrusive, complete, data vacuum of which they disapprove.

Mukasey is their chief apologist for the police state.

I LOVE that Cruz opposes the WSJ / Police State.

Sadly, the WSJ's tacit yet transparent endorsement of (cough, cough) Jeb colors their ed and op-ed pages.

Luckily, PRESIDENT Ted Cruz is more of a capable and dignified statesman than all of the other candidates combined, and Senator Cruz's views on national security are both valid and critically important.

That’s not her only problem .. she forgot to include THE TRUTH about what Senator Cruz really believes about National Security.

But then .. consider the source.

Attack Rubin and the Journal all you want. Cruz national security will be an anchor for Cruz if it continues to be the top issue on the minds of Republican primary voters. Expect Christie to go after him hard on this in the debate next week. Expect Donald Trump to follow Christie's lead on this one. Expect Bush and Rubio to pile on and attempt to lump Cruz in with Paul as often as possible.

Note: This is not a personal endorsement of Christie or a discarding of Cruz as a Candidate. I just believe that these issues are what is going to stick in the minds of voters unless Cruz is extremely prepared for this. I expect he will be, but I still don't think Rubin is wrong on this one.
