You’re right. I heard them say it. Some genius said it didn’t look like terrorism because they had an escape plan and didn’t take out as many people as they could. He then said there are many right-wing hate groups in the Riverside area and the investigation should center on them.

They had (pipe?) bombs.Turned out it wasn't a bomb that they tossed out during the chase. Just a plain pipe. But they apparently wanted police to think it was a pipe bomb.
