Ted Cruz embodies the true spirit of America. Obama – what a turkey. Cruz addressed our rich history and how it began with the pilgrims who gave their lives to start our country. He speaks of fighting the Revolutionary War and winning against all odds, overcoming slavery and winning two World Wars to help free the world. He spoke of George Washington and his faith in God. Cruz praised the military, police, firefighters, first responders, parents, pastors and teachers. He spoke of sacrifice and honor. Above all, Cruz spoke of our religious freedom and our great country… all of that to be honored and remembered on Thanksgiving. It was truly presidential in scope and cadence.

Here is Ted Cruz's Thanksgiving message today, commemorating where it all started:
"When we think back to that first Thanksgiving in 1621, and all that the Pilgrims endured, only half surviving the first brutal winter, we remember sacrifice upon which this land was built - and the sacrifice that continues to keep us free and safe.
The struggles we've been through as a country:
"In the struggle for independence, the brave motley group of soldiers defeated the greatest military force in the world. In the battle against slavery, the blood shed to purge this people from our original sin. In the World Wars, the thousands who fought in the trenches and scaled the cliffs of Normandy to save the American idea."
Who we should be grateful for:
"We are grateful for all those who have gone before us and for those who continue to serve: for the soldiers, sailors, airmen, and Marines who courageously defend our freedom. For the police officers, firefighters, and first responders who protect our communities. And for the pastors, teachers, and parents who guide us to know the truth, and be set free by it."
And remembering to give thanks to God:
"And we remember President George Washington's call in the first Thanksgiving Day Proclamation, 226 years ago, to 'unite in most humbly offering our prayers and supplications to the great Lord and Ruler of Nations, and beseech Him to pardon our national and other transgressions... to render our National Government a blessing to all the people... and to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue.'
"It is this hope in a Higher Ruler that inspired the Pilgrims to leave everything in pursuit of freedom, and it is this same Providence that, if we call upon the name of the Lord, will restore the promise of America."
Meanwhile, as part of his Thanksgiving message, President Obama told Americans that Syrian refugees are the new pilgrims:
"Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims - men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families. What makes America America is that we offer that chance. We turn Lady Liberty's light to the world, and widen our circle of concern to say that all God's children are worthy of our compassion and care. That's part of what makes this the greatest country on Earth."
Barack Obama spoke of the pilgrims too… in reference to Syrian refugees, if you can believe it. All the freedoms that Cruz spoke of us fighting for and achieving, Obama spoke of taking away. That’s the massive difference between these two men. One is a Christian leader, who is a brave constitutionalist… the other is a racist, petty Marxist who wants to change the national voting demographic and convert America into an Islamic nation. I choose Ted Cruz this Thanksgiving. His message is one of faith and freedom. Obama’s is one of capitulation and Marxism. As far as I’m concerned, Obama can get stuffed.

Just got an email from my mother-in-law. She and my FIL are spending some time at Myrtle Beach.
They were sort of/kind of leaning toward Trump, but then they heard Ted Cruz speak at Florence Baptist Temple in SC on the 15th.
She said, “We’ve come around to your way of thinking! Cruz is absolutely amazing-—everything he said resonated. He is the man we need in the White House, bar none. We sent him a donation.”
Knowing my inlaws, it was a sizeable one...I hope they sent him a good chunk. :)
Cruz strikes patriotism in all of hearts except commie democrats and blacks that are too stupid to realize they are being used by our president whose motive is to divide us.

This has been a great Thanksgiving...two more Cruz supporters, and believe me, my inlaws will talk about him to lots of folks...and (momentary hijack) my team is 11-0! :)
