BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) – This year’s STD report card from the Centers for Disease Control is in, and it doesn’t bring good news. The number of cases of syphilis, chlamydia and gonorrhea are up. Reported cases of three STDs, chlamydia, gonorrhea, and syphilis, have increased for the first time since 2006. The report found that the highest proportion of chlamydia and gonorrhea cases were in people between 15 and 29 years of age. Most syphilis cases were in people 20 to 29 years old. Here in Erie County, Health Commissioner Gail Burstein says the scariest jump is in cases of syphilis. She says this is seen primarily in cases of men having sex with men. Burstein calls syphilis a “gateway infection†where men are then more likely to develop other, more harmful STDs.
She said, “Unfortunately there is very high prevalence rates of syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia, and HIV in the sexual networks where men who have sex with men find their partners. So it’s actually becoming a public health crisis.â€

I don't see it that way. I don't see it as a "public" crisis. I see it as a problem for those promiscuous people in the tiny 1.8% of the male population who practice this perversion.

There are plenty of *bisexual* men who regularly have sex with both. Since they interact with the gay community, it spreads the disease from gays to straights. No such thing as a “gay disease”.
I’m sure lots of the diseases you find in women came from gay bars. These guys just typically dont tell the women about having sex with men because men that appear straight are more attractive to females.
You mean to tell me that promiscuous butt sex between men has something to do with increases in diseases? How is this possible!?!

From the CDC document:
In 2014, rates of P&S syphilis increased among MSM, who account for 83 percent of reported cases among men when the sex of the partner is known.
P&S=Primary and secondary
MSM=Men who have sex with men
In other words, this is overwhelmingly a problem associated with homosexual men, not just "men."
