Blame it on the German work ethic. Had a family picture duplicated to give the next generation a picture of my grand mothers grand parents on their fiftieth anniversary. His grandparents were German farmers who signed the Bradford Accord (Declaration was pattern from it) and fought in the revolutionary war under Washington.
Next to my great grandmother is her sister Julia Trump.
These families were hard working , high moral, intelligent people
Trumps branch of the family came to America via his grandparents. His grandmother was widowed with three young children. 11 -7. She made sure they were all educated. Fred her oldest, Donald’s father. Went to Trade school while still in high school (He also worked part time).
That branch of he family tree was the American Dream on steroids. It went from poor widow to multiBillionaire in three generations.
Sadly, not when a politician does it.
Large businesses learn to give to all sides and to hire lobbyists to keep from ending up "under investigation" for whatever reason.

They were in a dramatic decline. Fine company, fine trucks...crappy management at that time. Had a jerk from one of the big eight (at that time) accounting firms as CFO (from Pittsburgh IIRC). Everyone hated the guy.
My conclusion is this. The product isn't the management or the stockholders. The product is the designers/engineers and those who put their time in every day in building it.

A “Legal” political donation is not a bribe. Perhaps it needs to be but it is not. Seek counseling soon!
Any real estate developer donating ONLY to one political faction will not get his project(s) approved and will not be a developer long, ergo your comment about Trump donating to Democrats in a overwhelmingly Democratic town shows a fundamental lack of knowledge about the subject and about Mr. Trump.
