Darrell Scott, the pastor of the New Spirit Revival Center in Ohio, helped organize the coalition of religious leaders and said that after meeting Mr. Trump in person he was convinced that Mr. Trump was the candidate best suited to be president. He also said that the public portrayals of Mr. Trump as a racist and demagogue seemed unfounded after they spoke.
"I was looking for some subtle hints of racism," Mr. Scott said. "I didn't see it at all."
Mr. Scott, who said he was a registered Democrat who had voted for President Obama, said that he had been impressed by Mr. Trump as a leader and that he liked his ideas for improving the economy. He said that when he closed his eyes and listened to all the candidates, he found Mr. Trump to be the most appealing.
Mr. Trump has struggled to connect with some social conservatives because of his flashy lifestyle and the fact that he has held liberal views on some issues. But Mr. Scott said that he found Mr. Trump to be humble before God when they prayed together and that he had confidence in his faith.

Yep. These various “protests”, both at colleges and on the street, are being orchestrated with the purpose of arousing the Af-Am vote for the 2016 general election, since otherwise their turnout to vote for an ancient, corrupt, white female wouldn’t be nearly as great as it has been for one who has their same skin color.
Good gosh, OF COURSE Trump has paid-off, uh donated to Democrats. It’s the only way you can get any business done in a Democrat-controlled venue. Payoffs, uh, campaign donations are a given when Democrats run the show. Trump even admitted it in the first debate; he said he donated to everyone in order to grease the skids, and that’s why he personally knows how corrupt the system really is.
One of the great things about Trump is that he can’t be bought by the players who usually buy politicians because he’s self-financing. In fact, Trump can’t be bought be anyone. That’s why the GOPe, the media, the Uniparty, and the rich and powerful oligarchs and plutocrats are terrified of him. Trump will be one of the very few Presidents in our history who hasn’t been bought and paid for.
Look deeper. You might be pleasantly surprised.
Thanks. Senior moment. I had heard she’s going to law school. No further info.
Yes.
"And is that not a crime?"
Evidently not if you have an (R) or (D) after your name.
Your reply sounds like a MSM reply to a Trump or Cruz comment.....
But I still have reservations..
I do not trust him. Period.
Said that before..and ignited a hell storm here....but that is what I think.
I think millionaires, and billionaires can be bought ...and be black-mailed. Don't mean I do not like what Trump is saying....
Doesn't mean I won't vote for him!
Just means I don't trust him. Period. I don't trust any of them.
FWIW-
I don't think so...I'm a Conservative Republican,,here on FR...
I happen to differ...with the Trump supporter's.
And I get lambasted for it..I mean vilified for it.
God forbid..I say something negative towards Trump! Which all I said...was I don't trust him. Heck...I don't trust my brother in law....
I find it hard to understand the thin skinned,,,FReepers here!!
Good Gawd!! How can we go on when no one can take a bit of needling, pestering?
Is that what FR has become?
My guess is some type of similar effort to show LEGAL Hispanics support of Trump is also underway.
Mr. Trump ( the Art of the Deal ) is laying a very solid foundation to gain the presidency.
From the looks of the large number of responses AGAINST you I’d say your POV has FLUNKED big time.
Guess again doofus....
Here's Trump in his own words.
Trump: I gave money to Pelosi-Reid Because I'm a Businessman
Heheh.
That ought to do the trick.
“Just means I don’t trust him. Period. I don’t trust any of them.”
Certainly not a single one of them has given us any reason to trust any of them. And naturally, we really won’t know if President Trump will attempt to do any of the things he says he wants to do until actually in office.
My gut says he’ll try but will be thwarted by a corrupt Congress whose majority is the Uniparty. I think his whole term(s) will be like that and, if successful, he’ll gather the reins of power such that he can force successful primaries against the RINOs; that is, once elected, the primary issue of his tenure will be: “Or you with me, or are you against me?”
When host Jake Tapper asked Trump about Hillary Clinton attending his wedding and his political contributions to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi to help recapture Congress in 2006, Trump said, We have gridlock in Washington, for instance Ive helped Nancy Pelosi. Ive helped Reid. Im a business.
As you have said, he's had to grease a lot of palms. That's the way the real estate development business works.
I feel your pain...I got jumped on this thread for saying I understood why Trump made political donations to DC Democrats...and you know things are pretty bad when you and I are in agreement.
Ha!!
Trust, but verify.
You and I are here...so I'd expect we would agree on more than we would disagree.........
