Seeing the likely riots about to break out in Chicago tonight and the ongoing college campus insanity, my theory is blacks have entered a post-Obama depression.
They thought electing a black president would improve their lives. Instead, the Democrat party has replaced them with Hispanics both in terms of political power numbers and in the job front. Young African-Americans are at 50% unemployment in major cities. By all measurable numbers, things have gotten worse for blacks in the last 7 years.
Aside from the astro turf aspect of movements like Black Live Matters (Soros and company wanting to keep a victim mentality among their main source of easy votes), we're seeing a lashing out politically and in violence among blacks. Democrats are fighting to keep blacks victims and keep racism a constant issue, despite Obama's two national wins.
Is there an opening for Republicans, especially those opposing amnesty and open borders, to go after black votes? Even 25% voting Republican would be a major shift.

We will forgive them for voting for Bammy under one condition. That they vote for Trump or Cruz in 2016.
It could very well be that they are suffering depression but they still blame the evil whitey fo’ keepin’ da bruthas down.
They will never admit, for the next 20 years except to a fellow black man, that is very much a disappointment to them.
I know this because I am part of a few chats that are primarily for blacks and the ones that aren’t hardcore socialist do admit amongst themselves that they wish he hadn’t been the first black American President
That may well be correct. Disillusionment drives some of the activists. But I think most are being driven by ideology that teaches them that they are entitled to things without working for them. This are being expertly manipulated and exploited by communist agitators.
I don’t think this is an “African American” thing.
Those worried fall into the category of leftists, marxists, socialists, communists, hard left democrats, eco-whacko nut jobs, tree hugers, academia, MSM, RINO’s, GOPe, snow flakes, muzzie terrorists, EPA.

I think it’s gotten to the point where nobody really gives a damn what blacks think or want. All we want is for the to shut the hell up and go back to their lives and leave ours alone.

First, tell me why we refer to Blacks as African Americans? I don’t think any other country really refers to refers to Blacks as African _________ fill in the blank, nor do the Blacks themselves. They all pretty much just refer to them as Blacks.
You have a good point, but as blacks watch the plight of whites deteriorate they realize there is nothing left for them - they can’t get blood from a stone. Urban areas around me (northern NJ) have lost jobs, and it is hard to provoke class envy when the permanent underclass sees less & less of any other class.

We all hold blame - inaction on our part to not support/boost those who got "scandaled" out of the last race equates to handing the nomination to Romney. Not voting Romney equates to handing the race to Obama - our hands are not clean.

You might want to reconsider.
Psychologists have found that when Americans see the flag, they feel more patriotic for up to two weeks. And these feelings of patriotism singularly help the Republican party, with zero gain for the Democrats.
This being said, you can continue with your boycott except for say, two weeks prior to the next elections. Then there should be American flags everywhere.
